an article i found about that private video that Al Botross posted said:
When Walter White tells you to do something, it’s probably best that you listen. White’s real-life alter-ego – Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston — filmed a short, in-character video for a high school election that would make anyone think twice about voting for the other candidate. “It’s come to my attention that some of you have been persuaded perhaps to vote for Summer Kennedy by a colleague of mine. Or I should say former colleague. Don’t make the same mistake.” According to a post on Reddit, Giancarlo Esposito, who played meth kingpin Gus Fring on the series, filmed an as-yet-unseen endorsement for Kennedy. And we all know who wins in the Fring-White showdown.

welp, there is SOME info about that video... ill try and find more info. Cant wait til this show starts back up...

The Best Show on TV Returns July 15th

Here are the five best things that have happened on July 15 throughout history:

#5. Johnny Thunders was born (1952)
#4. The duck-billed platypus arrived in America from Australia (1922)
#3. The Nintendo Entertainment System was released in Japan (1985)
#2. Napoleon Bonaparte was captured (1815)
#1. “Breaking Bad” begins its fifth and final season (2012)

Vince Gilligan’s Emmy Award-winning meth drama will return to AMC on July 15th at 10 p.m. As expected, the season is also being split into two parts: the first eight episodes will air this summer, the final eight next summer. In the endless, drama-free weeks between the end of “Game of Thrones” and “Mad Men” and beginning of “Breaking Bad,” I plan to spend my time slowly going insane in random crawl spaces:

Yeah, that looks about right.

i still cant get over how ridiculous that final scene was when gus walks out of the room with his face missing... was wayyyyy too over the top.... there is no way in hell that dude would of stood a chance at even remotely being able to walk anywhere after being right there during the explosion... his body would most likely have been just chunks mixed in with the old mans chunks and the rest of the debris.... it has been said by many that it really emulated the likeness of "WALKING DEAD" and for that reason alone i was disappointed because after hearing that I could see the similarities and it angers me to know that the director failed to be "original".... just like dexter.... that fucking show was once PHENOMENAL..... but the last season was very ludicrous and "csi-like...."...........

"But the kids do watch.
Gotta Watch what we say
Gotta work everyday.
Gotta not be cliche.
Gotta stand out like Andre 3K.
Gotta kick it kick it like the sensai"

Glad I saw this thread. I've been following Breaking Bad on DVD; no commercials that way. Season 4 will be available on June 5, so I pre-ordered it. This is an excellent dark comedy by Vince Gilligan, who also created the X-Files.

it seems to me that whenever somethings popularity is recognised it becomes watered down, diminished then. it becomes no longer cutting edge but "normal".

that's what the original hippies would say about dope too!

so just another of Life's little Ironies, yes?

The thing with Gus's head was kind of an in joke- it was done by the artists that were working on Walking Dead at the same time they filmed the episode....
