Bottled water in your car is very dangerous!

On the Ellen show, Sheryl Crow said that this is what caused her
breast cancer. It has been identified as the most common cause
of the high levels of dioxin in breast cancer tissue..

Sheryl Crow’s oncologist told her: women should not drink bottled
water that has been left in a car. The heat reacts with the chemicals
in the plastic of the bottle which releases dioxin into the water.
Dioxin is a toxin increasingly found in breast cancer tissue. So please
be careful and do not drink bottled water that has been left in a car.

Pass this on to all the women in your life. This information is the kind
we need to know that just might save us! Use a stainless steel canteen
or a glass bottle instead of plastic!

This information is also being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical
Center … No plastic containers in microwaves. No plastic water
bottles in freezers. No plastic wrap in microwaves.

Dioxin chemical causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to cells in our bodies. Don’t freeze plastic bottles with water
in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently the Wellness
Program Manager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain
this health hazard.

He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we
should not be heating food in the microwave using plastic containers…..
This especially applies to foods that contain fat.

He said that the combination of fat, high heat and plastic releases dioxin
into the food.

Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Pyrex or ceramiccontainers
for heating food… You get the same result, but without the dioxin.. So,
such things as TV dinners, instant soups, etc., should be removed from
their containers and heated in something else.

Paper isn’t bad but you don’t know what is in the paper. It’s safer to
use tempered glass, such as Pyrex, etc.

He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants
moved away from the styrene foam containers to paper. The dioxin
problem is one of the reasons….

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Cling film, is just as
dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave.
As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually
melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with
a paper towel instead.

This is an article that should be share to anyone important in your life!

Yep.

Information has been around for decades... nobody seems to have taken notice.

Oncologists are very useful, as long as you don't let them treat you for anything serious... like cancer. :D

Sheryl Crow also said that the cancer was from using cell phones excessively when they first came out...

something that I also don't have to worry about

That also goes for all the frozen foods in plastic containers we heat in the microwave. They have to be removed from their containers and put in glass ones like pyrex. Our mj also should be stored in glass containers. I sent away for some pyrex glass ware for my microwave food. No more plastic Be healthy and safe everybody.

Excellent question. Our water company leaves the plastic water bottles next to our garage door, sometimes in the heat of the sun and you can plainly see it's heated.

That's after they come off the super heated hot truck. Wow

At my company we drink 5 gallon (11 Liter) bottles of water. They come on a big truck that is full of them. Is that the same problem only bigger?

Crow also suggested to use 1 square of toilet paper to wipe your butt.

Aside from her perceived nuttiness I already follow most of the rules outlined. How much toxin is leached off of the plastic is not known as the plastic varies and the heat applied will vary. How much the toxin will harm you is impossible the gauge as well, we are all different.

Just not a good idea imo to have plastic and heat together in any form.

I used to buy bottled water and just got tired of lugging it home. Looked up my local water impurity levels and decided I already had good water. Some places might not be so lucky.

If your water has chlorine in it set it out for at least 24 hours. If it has chloramine you need charcoal or reverse osmosis.

It is much cheaper to add whole house RO treatment if you have low quality water

You have no idea of how these bottles were stored during shipping and storage so it has no bearing if you do not leave them in the car. Meanwhile they loaded the trailer 3 days ago and it sat in the hot sun in a parking lot waiting to be picked up by a driver

Microwaves are every bit as bad for you and also bad for anyone in its proximity.

LOL I to have the same system you speak of with all the pipes and stuff lol

Absolutely clueless as to how narrow minded your experience/opinion on the matter is. lol

How many places have you lived? You drank the tap water in every place? Lived in places with wells, springs, creeks and city water for your source?

Ever live in a place where people just like yourself actually DRINK the tap water and have heavy metal poisoning and other issues because of it... and don't even know it?

They say ignorance is bliss. :tiphat:

Personally, I've lived in a few states and lived with a lot of different water sources. Have NOT lived anywhere the water is 'healthy' to drink in decades.

Born n' raised on 280ppm+. lol
I know generations of people living out full healthy lives who have consumed this "unhealthy" tap water.
Our bodies are very good at healing themselves and eliminating the unwanted... (provided one maintains other healthy practices in life).

Contrary to what many think...and I see a lot more of it amongst growers who have RO machines..

Drinking RO water for extended lengths of time has been found to be unhealthy as well (if not more). There are many dangers to drinking de-mineralized water.

What is your preferred source of truly "healthy" water Hydro-Soil?
(Edit - please note that I am NOT the person who negative rep'd you)

The possible health consequences of low mineral content water consumption
are discussed in the following categories:

Direct effects on the intestinal mucous membrane, metabolism and mineral
homeostasis or other body functions.

Practically zero calcium and magnesium intake.

Low intake of other essential elements and microelements.

Loss of calcium, magnesium and other essential elements in prepared food.

Possible increased dietary intake of toxic metals leached from water pipe.

Possible bacterial re-growth.
Low-mineralized water is unstable and therefore, highly aggressive to
materials with which it comes into contact. Such water more readily absorbs
metals and some organic substances from pipes, coatings, storage tanks and
containers, hose lines and fittings, being incapable of forming low-absorbable
complexes with some toxic substances and thus reducing their negative effects.
PS - I believe a large % of heavy metals enter our bodies through environmental toxins so if you are concerned about heavy metals while drinking various sources of water one should also where a dust/air filter mask wherever they go. Also.. stop showering. Toxins can be absorbed through the skin as well.

Or.. just eat a proper diet and let the body do what it does.. can't worry about everything. We encounter these dangers in life every second of the day.

Yeah Flower Farmer is right.... but if you have old LEAD pipes outside of your home I feel it is much safer to RO your drinking water supply and supplement the minerals you are removing from the water supply rather than drinking "tainted" water.

Also recognize, most municipalities now recycle sewerage waste water and either pump it back into your pipes (laden with unprocessed pharmaceuticals, industrial waste, motor oil and antifreeze from leakage into the street etc) or dump into a local stream or river.

Their system to clean the water of impurities is far less efficient than the natural water cycle
