Borg VS. Predator Borg!! Who Will Win?!!??

L

LolaGal

The Borg AKA Spider Mites have invaded. They insist "Resistance is Futile".

I have searched the internet for the best deal on their arch nemesis. Predator Borg!

The battle is soon to ensue! WHO WILL WIN OUT?

The evil Borg had invaded a local greenhouse ran by the evil Amish! The Borg sent out a breeding party! They attacked!!!

Sprays and Neem have been ineffective against the Borg!

Lady Bugs were no match! A Praying Mantis was located, and sent into the battle!

The Praying Mantis is MIA and next of kin have been notified.

Furious about the nice fat buds that are in danger from the Borg, I decided to call in the Anti Borg!

These predator mites are ordered and on their way. 2,000 troops (enough to cover 2 acres) are due to arrive!

See the Epic Battle Ensue! Who will win out?

Predator Borg breed twice as fast as the Borg, lay twice as many eggs as the Borg, and the best part is Predator Borg eat Borg for breakfast lunch and dinner.

With winter coming and windows being shut, I hope the Predator Borg win out.

My guess is the preds win, but honestly how long will depend on how bad the infestation is. Win is also dependent on how close to the end of flower you are. Buds with preds and mites on them snap crackle pop more than ones with just mites. Good luck. Peace GS

if it is an indoor grow my bet is on the borg

I only have had succes with predatory mites outdoors or indoors but at the very beginning of the infestation. Most of the time they just die

I only saw the Borg on one plant so far, most of the buds are in week 4, so I hope to nip it in the bud.

Since the Borg left have survived Neem and Pyrethrin sprays, I have left off the spraying for a few weeks. since there are no residual poisons, I hope the Predator Mites win out.

Anyways, I will be out $50 !!! Well worth it if the Borg die for the winter.

I will be showing pics later when the Predator Borg arrive and pics of the release. Then I will be showing the results. I got a Macro lens. maybe we will get some FIGHT SHOTS! :)

If you keep having problems with the borg , after this grow i recommend BAC plant vitality plus , i use it 2 times at the very beginning, i treat the plants + both sides of the leaves especially the backside.

I also treat the soil. This product is non toxic and also is good for the plant and it works so well.

My and 3 other growers i know of haven't had any borg problems for a whole year , before we where always struggling with the borg.

Predatory mites for me are perfect in a greenhouse , but you can help them by adjusting a few things. Look up which predatory mites you got. look up what conditions they like.

For example the borg like dry and hot whereas the predators like cooler and a bit more humid. So the first week(s) you can speed up the development of the predatory mites by making sure they and not the mites have optimal conditions. The better the conditions the faster they will multiply.

And you want YOUR borg to multiply faster.

Good luck , die borg die:dueling::dueling::dueling:

OK, the Predator Borg finally arrived this afternoon.

I got a vial filled with wood chips. I looked inside with magnifying glass. No Predator Borg in sight.

So I went ahead and starting shaking them out of the bottle and onto the plants. I hit every plant in the garden and still just used 1/2 the bottle.

After putting out the Predator Borg, I got my magnifying lens out again and started hunting the rascals.

They they were! Bright Orange color! BUT, I guess they put some BORG in there for them to eat, I see a new variety of BORG! OH NO! I didn't want new Borg.

The Predator borg are eating up a storm. I got to watch an attack and kill already!

DONT FORGET !!! Meteor shower tonight!
