In my never ending quest to have all my garden makings delivered, I froogle'd bonemeal. there is liquid and dry. liquid is easier for the monohander. is there some intrinsic reason not to use it? do you hasve any feeling to how much liquid would match what the bogmaster uses in his mix?

1 cup of blood meal and 1 cup bone meal per 1 cu. ft. bag of soil** 28.3L

I mixed a 1 cu. ft. bag of WM pro mix & 1 cu.ft of a all organic soil & added "Soil Perfector" a new all natural soil conditioner

I am using: all organic "Espoma" brand;

Bone meal 4 - 12 - 0
Dried blood 12 - 0 - 0

& used a tad under 2 cups of each & mixed the soil well & let it sit for a few days in a cooler

Tip; Cheap re-usable plastic buckets: Wallmart paint section has 1 qt plastic tubs for .58 & you just cut drain holes in them.

I mixed up:

2 Cups Blood Meal
2 Cups Bone Meal
9 Liters Perlite
55 Liters Sunshine Professional Growing Mix

I let it stand 19 days with frequent mixings but my plants at day 29 I suffered some nute burn after being transplanted into this new medium. I did also use 2.5ml/G or Pure Blend Gro (weak mix). I should have used water only.

Actually my book outlines the fact that less bone meal is needed in veg while more is needed in flowering and less blood meal is used then.

In Bonanza of Green the veg mix has 2 cups of bone meal and 3 cups blood meal per 2 cubic foot and in flowering the amounts of the 2 are reversed. In flower use 3 cups bone meal and 2 cups blood meal per cubic foot.

It is too hot for seedlings if feeding soil is used. BOG
