Bone Meal, Blood Meal in My Tea?

I have some dry organic fertilizers: bone meal (1-20-0) and blood meal (12-0-0). I'm preparing recipes for an organic tea in a one-gallon container. I'm building both a vegetative recipe and a flowering recipe.

Can my bone meal and blood meal be used? I've heard that blood meal breaks down and becomes available to the plant extremely quick, whereas bone meal takes much longer. How will this come into play in an organic tea?

Good question, I've been wondering the same thing myself. I haven't really heard much about using blood meal in tea, probably due the fact that it is hot, as you had mentioned.

As for the bone meal, it isn't really water soluble as it is. Acidic soil is supposed to make the phosphorus more available for the plants. I'd like to know how they make "Liquid Bone Meal". I'm assuming they treat it with an acid to free up the phosphorus just as they do with rock phosphate when they make super phosphate and triple phosphate etc.
 
what burn1 said. bone cant be absorbed into the water. for teas, scrap the bone and blood and use either high n guano for veg and high p for flower. those are your best bets because guanos are quick absorbing.

as with all other basic teas though, to this you must add the normal ewc and molasses.

I made a bonemeal tea a couple years ago and burned the shit out of my plants. I heard that it didnt work so I decided to learn for myslef. One might think it did work but too well. It burned them within 24 hours leaving brown spots and yellowing the entire plant. I used sock about the size of a softball in 1 gallon of water..

heres the best part. It was the most fowl smell after it drained. Smelled like a wet towel left in a hamster cage .
