Both plants are very branchy and this training style works pretty good

I feed them every 3'th watering with 3-1-1 organic nutes +micro +mgso4.

good luck to all

I really didnt think that the two ft tubes would be that much different from the small ones because mine were 15w a piece and yours are 18, your plants are far more branchy than mine but it could be because you used blue tubes and I used flowering tubes for the whole grow, it was a sad sight to see three plants with around a combined ounce, I do suggest that you buy a weak HPS or anything stronger because the buds, calyxes, trichomes will all be dwarfed. It wont affect the quality but I just didnt think it was worth it, there will be a few pics on www.Hempcity.net in the user gallery tomorrow or the next day he will be labeled Watermelon Bud :canabis:

thanks all for comments.
Today i bought two CFL (PHOENIX 2700K 105 wt each) and put its above my plants..after i turned its on, i noticed that i need at least 2 more lamps to cover my area with balanced light..but 4x105=420wt (too much)

I think it will be better if i install there one 250 MH to grow this branches until flowering...isnt it?

Fluoro section is done...that low watt lamps worked pretty good for me...

You have to remember that a 15w flouro light is equal to 60w, I'm not going to break that down but the watts would be close but th MH lights would probably be better unless you could get the bad ass grow flouro's that were for veg. They have these on a few online growshops you might have to look around but they would be cheaper and safer I assume the

hey Dank thank you for input and comments. I read on box of that CFL lamp that it is equal to 400wt..but imo it equal to 120 maybe 150 not more.

I have another box with installed 250MH.. plants are feeling good there.

peace.

what whattage does it use per hour? is that the 18w ones? It might have meant the four lights togather. The plants look good man, What lights do you plan on using for flowering?
The reason that the flouros dont grow as good as the MH lights even if they are putting the same ammount of lumens out, its the heat factor, a little heat makes the plants grow faster, some people like their grow room around 78* but I try to keep mine at about 81-84 with a little space heater running low also on a timer, it runs around 3hrs a day. I really need to start another grow but my grow partner who provides the locatin is wanting o stop, we only have one small plant left . I have given up on the great outdoors because the animals/thieves eat/steal my shit every time except twice. It sickens me to have a good plant and go to harvest and its gone.

Yes Dank 18wt each. The size of that luminaire (i hope i use right word) is 70 x 40 cm. (2.3 ft long x 1.5 ft wide) It is enough for one plant max..you can check my WR grow.. all veg stage until flowering i grew it under just 4 x18 fluoro tubes (72watt) (the link is in my signature..)
For flowering, as i noted above, i'll use HPS250.
Fluoro tubes is pretty good for young plants and vegetative stage but there is two main things.
1. Lights must be placed as close to tops of plants as possible.
2. Night temperature drop of minimum 5 degrees is must.

Sorry I overlooked the 250, wander why :joint:

What time cycle do you veg on? I go 24/7 in veg. You could allways use a heater on a timer, works allright but it creates dry air so dont leave it on for long periods, mine was set for 20min every 90min I think, my gow partner actually set the timer, but you'll have to adjust it according.
