BogBubble and Bogglegum under fluoros..

Hello to all ICers
I heard alot about both strains and ordered both at SB.

Bogbubble...i grew 8 seeds of bogbubble before and all of them turned to be a males. Lets hope this time i'll get a female.

I started my plants under 6 fluoro tubes 18 watt each...

BB ready for first transplant.



and bogglegum planted about a week after BB..

good start, and you might want to think about odor controll now because the bogbubble can stink to high heaven, while the bogglegums dont smell too much.

do you plan on using flouro's throughout the whole grow? If so throw some cfl's in there to boost the lighting for flowering.

one more thing, both of those strains are very hungry for magnesium, so feed them epsum salts, or a micro complex.

hey there smarx...I too have some bogbubble going...and yes...they definetely can stink to high heaven...mines are still in veg...only 1 of the phenos is REAL stinky...it's got the biggest leaves too...absolutely HUGE leaves...I'm interested in this grow for sure...keep it coming bro!! good luck too, peace and happy tokin

yea yea cfl's eh eh eh lol hang em like this
and your plants will love ya for it. 280w mixed spectrum cfl lighting a 25w daylight a 45w warm in each fixture there my plants love me for it. yours will also when you up the wattage. the lighting you have now will sustain them but you'll need more wattage for them to really grow to thier potentional. i do plan to flower under a 400w hps

im pretty sure these are bogbubbles but not to possitive as they might be bogglegum. but here theya re under a 400wt hps they are going to get their l;ast shot of nitrogen this weekend and sent to 12/12 and whom ever said they love magniesim you werent lyn they are mag whores...

Bogglegum sure does luv Mg.
I find a tablespoon/gallon half way thru veg, followed by the same @ 2 weeks 12/12 does the trick. They might even take another dose further into flower
So long as they get that first dose before flowering you'll be fine.

Yes i noticed that my bb guys were stinky in veg...im planning to make DIY air filter soon.
I use fluoro lights only for seedlings and veg stage. and i usually use HPS for flowering..
My fluoro tubes also gives mixed spectrum lights (3 warm and 3 cool blue). And i had some result using even 4 of its.. http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=21761
CFLs looks very interesting to me..i never used this type of lights before...i think it will be good if i install some of its on sides to give more light to branches..

nice grow man. your plants look healthy. are you going to scrog them? have you topped them yet or are they just naturally bushy?

what size hps light are you going to use?

I dont plan to top Bogbubble..BB (male) from my last grow was crazy branchy..like it top itself..i think LST technique will be good for them..
For flowering i use one 250W HPS (4 sq.ft area).

smarx i see u don't have the long strech most people have with fluros tell me what type of fluro bulbs do u use and how do u keep them from streching?

Hi Sun_tzu.. about type of this lights..It is 2 feet long Philips fluoro tubes: 3 - cool blue and 3- warm (some yellow in light) i also plan to install some additional CFLs on sides.
I keep my lamps 2-3 inches above tops of plants and (mho) this is one of things which keeps them from big stretch.
The over thing is day and night temps. My day temperature never raise more then 25 -27 C, and at night it is 18-20 C.
