Well you said it yourself, they are not bred by BOG, so BCBD should label them as such and stop deceiving people. Even if they have BOG's P1 stock, and I doubt it, they are tricking people into believing they came from the Bubblegum Guru himself, which is a lie. And charging a premium price for them also from an unreliable service.

If they aren't in or don't at least include a piece of the original seed pack it's pretty hard to trust. When it says "BOG XXX" it should be BOG's seeds, not their knock offs. It would be nice if someone would talk to them again and ask that specifically- are these BOG's seeds or a reproduction. As far as I can tell there's nothing wrong with an F2 as long as you know this... and the price they are charging is imo too much for knock offs especially when their site leads you to believe they are originals from the breeder.

By the way, what kind of "high" is Sour Bubble?

Hummmm, shouldn't they at least say they are knockoff's. I dont mind getting next generation seeds from known good breeders, but I like to know that going into the purchase. There web site doesn't mention they are knockoff's and thats not good!!! $125 a pack for misrepresented seeds and thats if you ever recieve them.

I agree with you, and especially as they have TOLD OTHERS that they are NOT knockoffs, but REAL BOG from BOG himself.

I tried to get info from them when BOG quit, and they basically lied and said they were STILL getting seeds from BOG and BOG told me that they would be very old seeds or NOT his and that almost 2 YEARS AGO.

Now that MAY just be a dishonset EMPLOYEE and not BC's policy but still he should not have lied to me.

I have not used the BC seed for the project as I could not be certain of them, I wish to God it WAS true , and that BOG was still making seeds.

I would be the FIRST to buy them and stop this preservation project.

Sour Bubble is a very medicinal strain, with a heavy couchlock high when ripened fully, but early harvesting will not be as quite as heavy, but I noticed some paranoia effects from early harvest buds sometimes

Saddly the days are gone when I could go onto Seedbay and pick up original breeder packs of Sour Bubble for $90 just about anytime I wanted.

not trying to trick anyone, they're simply selling BOG's genes. They, BCBD, do not have BOG's P1 stock. BOG gave his P1's to Vegas who does the pollen chucking for him. If you want to say they're not BOG because BOG didn't apply the pollen himself, that's your perogative.

If anyone would like to see ORIGINAL BOG Genetics, it would be me, but I have seen little convincing evidence that BCBD has them, even in there own forum. I have grown 1000's of original BOG plants and crosses from seed, and am pretty sure I can tell real Sour Bubble.

Are they selling like BOG did in packs of 12 seeds?

How much did cost?

Did it come in a timely fashion?

I am asking as I have written to many [when BOG left ] and asked about BCBUD and was warned off for all kinds of reasons.

I dont think any of those people worked for or had any kind of motivation for downgrading BCBUD, they seemed to be just giving me a head up.

What I was told was that they did not get seeds, the seeds took months to get there, or the wrong seed or no seed and no real response from BCBUD via Email or a 'check is in the mail' type response..

It would be best to find out from BOG what he did with BCBUD and what is going on with his old parents.

If Vegas really has them and is really doing it with the parental stock its worth looking into ...

I just cant take the chance and I cant afford 125 for seeds I am not sure of.

I would rather spend 125 on Spice of Life and be sure .

I see both points in this one..if I recall..BOG WAS going to something with vegas and then something happened and he ditched out of seeds..I do not know ..but it seemed like something scared him pretty bad..

He wrote to me on Hipforums saying that 'I dont send seeds anymore ..it could get me a life sentence sending across state lines'

You got that right. BOG made it very easy to buy a pack of seeds and find a good keeper. Dosnt mean we cant preserve or find a good cross for the exsisting seeds we have left.

I truely believe we could cross Sour Bubble with one of the exsisting kush strains and not loose the desired potency and stability with a little work, but obviously I'd rather just rely on the Bubblegum Guru to do all the great work he has done already.

Actually at this point, I have NO FRIGGIN idea who is right and who is wrong..

For me..I just cant take the chance of 'PRESERVING' BOG stuff if there is doubt about it.

And believe me, I brought it up privately to some people here about using BCBUD seeds for this work when it looked like we could not get BOGGLEGUM any other way..and they screamed 'foul'

so ..as I will be sending alot of these seeds in to Dutchgrown at some point and people will be growing them, I want to do MY VERY BEST to ensure that they are what I have said they are.

It is very odd and it would be VERY VERY screwed if BCBUD is not using BOG genes at all.

I would THINK that they would want them to be as close to the original as possible..and on some of BOGs plants it not easy to jsut take any old plant and call it SOUR BUBBLE ..I mean its fairly unique..I am not saying that you could not do it..IMHO Bubba Kush looks almost exactly like it [some phenos or 'types']

But wouldnt it be HORRIBLE business to sell BOG seeds and then people grow them and think 'Hey THIS is NOT Sour Bubble!!"

Mostly I was celebrating BOGs SOUR BUBBLE..and hoping people would posit about BOGs SOUR BUBBLE.

I am not saying to not post anything else in the thread..its not MY thread anyway ..its OUR thread.

But I hope we can have a good experience doing it.
