BOG Changin' up?

As soon as I get a safe po box and a safe Credit Card, I log on to SD to find that not only has BOG seemingly dropped Bogglegum from his list o' genes. I also saw that the price per pack has risen from 55 to 70USD. Did this really happen or am I just loosing my mind? BOG? Anyone?

Due to the exchange rate Gypsy had to raise his prices. It is perfectly reasonable, after all he is running a business.

Well in reality there was no attempt to put one over on anyone and this price increase has been announced for some time by myself and Gypsy. I did a big Christmas Special and Seedbay still has my best deals.

But Gypsy ran out of Bogbubble and Lifesaver. The Lifesaver have been restocked now and the Bogbubble seeds are in shipment. I have not decreased production and I am making every attempt to increase production now. Stocks remain very low on Bogbubble and SC99 but we are working on it.

Absoloutely7, thats not what I was saying. I mean that it is understandable y so many people are confused about it and wondering, that it could APPEAR like that what I said above. I dont think it is the situation , but it COULD look that way to peeps. But now you say Gypsy has put the price up ontop of ur price increase too. Well the echange rate huh, well I live in englad so the echange rate dont effect me where gypsy is concerned so can I get the Non-exchange rate prioces please. hahahahah

It all seems very simple to me, business 101 really. If Gypsy gets more orders than he has seeds for (on a regular basis) then a price raise is justified. Add in some profit for each party and exchange rate/shipping overhead and it really boils down to your basic supply and demand chain as seen in any retail market.

This truly wasn't meant as a knock in any way, just my observation of what I consider standard retail business in action.

I wasnt complaining about the price. (I would rather grow BOG's genes than pay 100-130 USD for a pack of shorted Emery seeds) I just really wanted to know when Bog Bubble would be available again. Thanks BOG for the reply, along with everyone else.

At $70.00 they are a bargain,in my opinion.
**Here's a hypothetical situation**
You can't buy a good Bubblegum for seventy bucks a Q,anywhere-much closer to $100....so if 12 seeds make you an ounce,you're ahead by a minimum of,hypothetically,$330.
(And six,under a 1000w HPS will likely do you up with ten zips,a savings of $4000 on 'street prices',IF you could get it on the 'open market' as good as you can grow yourself (you probably can't)....
**Hell,if $'s your thing,Sour Diesel commands an EASY $500,so is paying over $100 for seeds to grow it SO bad? I think NOT.

Some of you guys have no idea how much it costs to run ops like this.
Let me enlighten you,a bit.

A couple of G's/month for a house.
<And let's hope the landlord's not a nosy fucker,eh?>

$400+ electric bill,double the normal average of a house its' size.
<Even with 240V wiring it still draws the KW's,just cheaper on the deliverey>

Bills related to the garden average $400/month.

So,that's $2800/month,to have dedicated area to work in,a nice large space that costs a fortune to retain environmental control over,and will BURY you in jail if ever it gets discovered.

The return?
For me,it's always been about making seeds that make top-shelf buds that make people SMILE,and remember the smoke....and I've succeeded well over 99% of the time,from my recollections.

Financially?
You'd likely do better playing professional poker.
I haven't released ANY seeds in a year,and have been paying those (above) bills,so let's refer to "my love of the plant", because there's been NO money for a year from seeds,at all.
Just bills.

I do this because I love it,and my love of the plant and the breeding work that I adore are always exciting and fresh,prohibition-related issues notwithstanding,and of course,fighting the Borg (spidermite) is ever the joy,lol!

I've paid from $15 to $200 for 10 beans and it all comes out in the end if ya grow alot. Your basically looking for real select plants from a broad cross section of plants. I may be growing $400-$500 at any one time and still may find that keeper in the $15 beans or the $200 beans or none at all, who knows

So, if ya spend X amount of dollars a year on beans does it matter that some cost more than others? it's still the same total

I think I paid $80-$100 bucks or something for (12) Willie Nelson beans from RM and got 3 good females out of 8 seeds sprouted that yielded just under a pound of high grade sativa buds. At 400 an once, you do the math. Even after all utilities and nutes it's the best deal in the world, provided you can grow.

Thats what alot of people dont understand.You have the cost of electric the cost of all the little things /nutes -soil-pots, a bunch of little shit/youre time(alot of man hours goes into it).And the biggest bill of all/its against the law.I dont know why people bitch,at about $6 a bean thats not a mint and if i get one keeper outta that pack i will be happy cuz i can mother it and clone it and have it for as long as i want.I look at it like its a one time charge and then i have it for as long as i wish.Man when i break it down like that it seems like alot of money /NOT!.
