Nice work there bonz, all that mass from push up's and sit up's ey
I usually put a 40-60 pounds weight on my chest and do the sit up's on my inverted bench. Works alot better for defintion.
Nice thread guys, and good luck on your goals. First couple years of college I had myself on a pretty strict program trying to gain mass, and I actually managed to put on 10-15 lbs., which for me was pretty good. You look up ectomorph in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of me, a scrawny little dude about to blow a fuse doing squats.
One day I'd like to get my mind right to the point where working out actually felt good mentally and not just physically. These days I'm just not there. And I hate, hate, hate feeling winded, which means that as soon as I start back up, I get pissed off and quit, because I remember actually being in good shape. Ah well.
I have to laugh sometimes at you overweight guys, because under a couple layers of fat there's a solid dude there. Us skinny f*cks, there just ain't much to work with.
Yup yup, been weight training for about 20 years now. I do a full-body routine three times a week: efficient, doesn't take long, and works like a charm.
I try to run or get out on my bike a couple of times a week as well. Hate to say it, but I can definitely feel the effects of my herb habit catching up with my lungs...seriously considering a vaporizer. Another thing about the herb: it's shitty for my diet. I can eat a shocking amount of food when I'm high--and unfortunately I lean toward the candy side of town when that happens!
Ah the old whiplash, personal demons in the form of mj messing withbody and mind.
Another thing I noticed while I was high, or still feeling residual effects I couldn't keep my form. I had to keep correcting myself while doing inclined chest fly's cause I couldn't visually see the weight's, and therefor didn't have the focus required to feel it. End up with one arm too low and not meeting in the center.
After about a week without herb I noticed my pulse also slowed down quicker after workout's. Although weed is suppose to increase oxygen in red blood cells but I think the cannabinoid's in ur system are the culprit's quicking the heart rate.
