Bodhi Dream Beaver

B

BAKED_BEANZ

Has anyone had solid Dream Beaver? I have a pack going outside.

I had the Snow Leopard do that weird bud thing, loose structure but kept the best one for a mom hoping that it would tighten up under better lights and Organic soil/teas. So far Snow Leopard and her sisters are monsters outside, loving the full sun and fresh air.

Sky Lotus huge outside, amazed at the fatness of her stem at the top of plant.

Anyway the leopard didn't look half that good first run. I would hope that the clone run would do better. Maybe the same of your loose beaver lol.

no man , snow leopard nothing like dream beaver . they were some of my largest outdoor buds . they pack it on . though they are not a super rock hard bud they make up for it in size . large and firm its what i,d say , yes i,m still talking about snow leopard

Wierd, I have a few of these in flower right now. A few weeks deep, maybe 4.. Frosty as a mah fucher. Three very different plants, all sharing profuse resin as the only common denominator. One even has really long thin silky pistils. One smells of vomit, hybid in shape. Next smell like pizza, no shit, just like pizza; indica dom pole plant. Third is the silky pistil sativa dom that smells like sour milk pine, I had a Bodhi Snow Leopard that smelled JUST like this one. I f2'd them w the 2 males I got. Should have 50 or so from each female..

I'll put up some pics in the near future and keep everyone updated if interested

Just a quick update...the hybrid and indica leaner are almost done, both have a very similar strong smell of concord grapes with a side of BO, one is sweet and the other earthy. They have both remained as frosty as ever, they both have big dense flowers. The sativa dom seems to have a couple weeks left, and is also a frosty gal. The buds are however really small in comparison. The smell has morphed into a piney spicy funk, VERY nice, not unlike a SSH. I may keep this one as I love the spicy old school smell of it, and it is dripping in resin.

This is the sativa leaning pheno. She has a sour milk kind thing going on with a note of spice. A nice aware high too. It's a nice plant but after the second round I think it's time to keep on poppin.

Hows the males look or did you kill em? I have a pack of these on the way, so good males for breeding stock might give me renewed hope... Shit dream beaver... I've tossed or lost more money on ugly strippers then the pack cost me.

DB is was the first to really start stacking and has a great nose in the garden. Looking forward to seeing her finish.

Sorry no pics of the males. I did use them to make f2s though. I don't see myself starting them anytime soon though.

Here's a few pics of Dream Beaver, outside from 2014.

It was main run, finished about Oct 8th in the PNW. Did all right against the mold and mildew. Good smoke, hybridized leaning towards Wide Leaf. Tried one this year but it was male.
Snow Leopard is amazing, grew it indoors. Starts out looking stringy, then fills in with long colas. Great smoke. Hybrid leaning towards narrow leaf. Snow Leopard was more exciting but a little bit more difficult to grow. Wish I had pics.

Since we're talking Bodhi, here's a Roadkill Unicorn outdoors.

Really nice stuff, enjoyed it a lot. Hybrid, I'd say right in the middle between narrow and wide.
I'd describe all of these as 'good California ganja' as opposed to narrow leaf or wide leaf. With it ranging Leo, Uni, Beav as more sativa to Indica in growth and effect.

I got out my old notebook to remind myself of what happened that year.
My entry from 10/4
Lots of mold in the garden but sunny weather Dream Beaver is finishing like a champ.
10/5 - 10/10 Cut everything down. Dream Beaver beginning to sprout nanners
I've never had a Bodhi strain go hermaphrodite on me but at the very end outside it might sprout a few male flowers. I think cold wet weather might have been the cause. I'd keep an eye on it in case. Must be decent against mold because I had problems with some other strains. Of course after I harvested I might have found a bit when it was drying. But I remember the plants soaking wet as I cut them down.

I made a mistake, thought my only Beaver was male. Turns out I had a little female off to the side. Thought she was something else. She's not done yet, maybe another week and a half.

The smell is awesomely rank, much more intense then the last time I tried it. She's a real keeper, if I was a pheno hunter I'd have struck gold. Wish I had a clone or some seed off her. My friend described the smell as 'when she hasn't washed for a day, doesn't smell like soap or perfume. Smells like a girl.'
I'd thought Dream Beaver was nice and all but nothing too impressive compared to some of Bodhi's other stuff. We'll see once this gets dried and tested I have high hopes.
Almost forgot, despite torrential rain and cool temperatures no mold or stem rot so far.
