Chrome's Hindu Kush... 7 or 8 weeks... I noticed PM on it! Bad! Patches all over the leaves... So it's getting cut now. I looked around the room, and it's on all the plants. Idk how this happened, but it looks like the whole room, except the THUNKx plants are coming down. I can't risk ruining the rest of the grow, and most of it's been flowering 9.5 weeks anyway... Other than the PM, this plant is nice. She's a beast! I'm nervous to see my Hindu Kush room... I hope the PM is only in the tent...

jus curious, is stadium style the only way you've grown vertically so far? wasn't sure if you settled on this after trying something else or if it was just this. i'm dippin my toes into the vert pool and just starting to do my research.

I take full responsibility for the PM... I had put down an extra layer of plastic thinking I was doing myself a favor... But some water got trapped underneath, perfect for growing mold/fungus/algae... Lesson learned...
Things could definitely be worse. 9.5 weeks and PM shows up, I'll take it... much better than early on. Stadium style is what I'm most familiar with, but I recently did a coliseum style grow with 2 400's stacked on top of each other... I put too many plants in and they weren't able to reach their full potential... I added 400w to make it 1200w and those plants are finishing up better... Coliseum style is the most efficient it would seem, and where I'll transition to next I think. DHF preaches stacking 3 600's in a 6x6 square... And I think I'll set up a few pods like that. DHF claimed yield of 2lbs a lamp! 6lbs off 1800w on the first try.. He didn't veg, ran 80 plants... I have a limit of 72, so I'm going to veg them and probably run pods of 12...
Thanks... I took down the whole tent except the 2 THUNKx. The Sativas were all resistant to the PM, and I only saw a few spots on the THUNKx... so I cleaned it, and hopefully that's the end of it... Just gotta keep it dry in there so the shit doesn't start growing again...
Whatup Nukku! I know you feel my pain with this run not going as smoothly as I would have liked... I cleaned out the tent today, I'll sanitize it before putting new plants in. I'm getting a new grow spot anyway... The HK smells lemon-musky... Definitely not a candy smell like a lot of the kushes I've seen have... I've only been on the cannabis scene for about 8 years, growing maybe 4... actually knowing what I'm doing 1-2 years.. lol Point being I don't have much experience with old school herb... I'm a young guy. I'm gonna learn about it though, growing HK, Thai, etc...

Hey Red! This is the first time I've ever had a problem with PM.
Patches on every plant. Luckily I have some good friends that stopped by to help me trim, or I'd still be working at it! Chrome's HK surprised me a bit. It yields very well, and some of the phenos have leaf curling from trich coverage... Anyway, I'm happy to see you're keepin on keepin on Red!

CLS C99x- bent over to fill a space, so she's a little ugly.. cut a little too early, but she had PM...

Chrome's Hindu Kush- the other pheno, closer to the Rezervoir line but not the same...
"Sour Diesel"- this was a clone given to me by a guy... Nice plant, but it's not the ECSD.

Hey Bobblehead. Man, sorry to hear about the PM issues. I had my first(and hopefully only) experience with PM last Spring/Summer. Had two tents both get eat up in that shit. I had to toss everything, shut down completely until about December. The tents were a couple old HTG deals, one with a busted zipper and other problems. Tossed it. The other was still decent shape, cleaned it well and put it away for future projects.
So, replaced these with a DR120 and a DR120II. (think I may like the older style better, will see after a bit of use). Going to grab some Eagle 20 to keep on hand in case.

Smoking since -93 First time was maybe year before We got plenty of afgani plants here before.. hindu kush northernlight garlic bud etc.. alot of indicas. Old skool effect and taste what I call them..

sorry about the Powdery Mildew. that's the one problem as a grower i've yet to experience. i know i'm due for it someday. thanks for the pic of that too. one time i thought i had PM but it was pollen. LOL. i was freaking out. so run us through the treatment you do for this. document this journey man. its looking so good. shit all of them are incredible. the PM doesn't seem to harm the plant like mold does.
also good taste in genetics, i'm proud to have you growing my shit. what the hell is next, how do you top this?

about 2 weeks ago it was real humid in my place... I'm guessing that's when it happened. It got warm for a few days, and bam... Sucks about your luck with them being to early in flower. FYI, those ELE were very resistant to the PM, being more sativa... I didn't have but a few spots on them. They also turned out much better than I anticipated in the beginning of the grow. Make sure you give them lots of space to bush out.

Thanks ambertrich. Hopefully I never have a PM problem again, but I might try the Eagle 20 until I'm sure I've cleaned everything out... I've seen the HTG tents in the store, and personally I don't like them much. Idk what the old ones look like, but the new ones just don't look very high quality... Good luck with that Grape Skunk! It's currently one of my fav plants for consistency.
