Bob Ross started painting in prison, he was also allowed to telecast some of his work from there in public access television. This got Bob his start, he was an incedible artist that could make the common idiot fell like he could actually do what Bob could do at the drop of a hat. Bob Ross was good people and awesome to watch baked I MUST CONCURR.

I used to watch god religiously. He was so unbelievably calming to listen to, even if it was at 3am, or 9 in the morning, I'd always have a couple of fatties skinned up for him.

I loved his chat about 'big ole trees', always had a quiet smile to that one!

this is very ironic. i am art student. and me and a couple friends were sittin in class helping out and my friend mentions bob ross and erupted in a large conversation on how he's fuckin crazy and a paint blob turns into a tree before our dumbfounded eyes and how crazy itd be to smoke some herb and watch this crazy cat paint.

jesso is like white paint but it is used to wash out canvas. Canvas comes in sort of a peachy tan color, and we use jesso to make a base coat to paint on. choosing different color jesso is like choosing different colors of paper, if you jesso a canvas blue, your painting your art on blue canvas. its not so much meant to be a paint like bob ross used it in this video but it can be used for that although it doesnt come in the vibrant colors you can buy regualr acrylic or oil paints in.

My buddy, (a painter), claims that Bob Ross is very enjoyable to watch with his soothing monotone voice. However, he says that Bob Ross is a production line couch painter who can train any monkey to do the same thing. Anyone with practice, patience, and the smallest inkling of a creative sliver of DNA can do any Bob Ross painting high on the sweetest mother of the dankest cheeba as long as they have a hundred and fifty to drop on a new hobby from a sale that shouldn't have been sold. That being said, he also states sincerily that Bob Ross is one of the coolest human beings that ever existed and that he wishes that there were more people like him in the world.

damnit i wanted to see how the picture turned out in the end but the clip didn't show the ending.

lol i used to love watching that guy when i was a little kid. and ur right, its pretty chill to relax and watch him when ur stoned as all hell ( like i am right now). that guy can make an amazing painting in just a few minutes and it's really cool to watch how he does it. i like his voice too, it's really smooth and relaxing. he'd probably be a good hypnotist lol
