Re:boycotting stuff

I don't want "Stuff" enough that I will give these ****s my money.

All the supermarkets are at it. Morrisons has people on 2 year "apprenticeships" being paid £2:70 an hour. Apprentice, to stack shelves and work a till, really?

EDIT Wow, someone thought this was worth a downvote... I didn't know Ian Duncan Smith was an ICMag member.

Fun fact, Ian Duncan Smith, was named George by his parents, but changed it to sound posh, conversely, Gideon Osborne calls himself George to try to hide the posh. LOL

Re:boycotting stuff

that there is the problem with "society" if he didn't boycott stuff he imo would become a hypocrite, he wouldn't be standing behind his beliefs. Now where would we of got if we hadn't boycotted the scum.. (ie the boycotting of the sun newspaper in liverpool) sadly so many do not stand behind their belief... they will moan about things and yet do nothing... like all the people who moan about the media thru papers and tv yet have a sky subscription.. like those that moan about seed prices yet pay it etc etc.... I mean shall we all just turn over and offer our bellies up?

What we have now is a "Carrot and Stick" system....
....... Except the big companies get the Carrot, and the worker gets the stick.

Howard marks went to Oxford,he certainly wasnt upper-class,working class people attend both Uni's.
Distinct minority though.... and when you look at the boat race teams, it is never the working class lad from the comp, on a scholarship on the team. He doesn't have time for boat training as he needs a job to survive while at uni.

Plenty of lads from working class backgrounds row,I was brought up in a slum which had a rowing team, fuck class wars and fucking chips on shoulders.

Don't get me wrong, I was in the Sea Cadets, and went rowing all the time.
What I'm saying is, working class kids at Oxbridge, don't have time for the boat team training schedule, as they are (generally) working when they are not studying.
As for class war, it's there whether you like it or not, and the common working man is losing badly and has been for the past 3 decades.
I'm not that keen on chips, can I have a potato croquette or a nice plate of mash on my shoulder instead?

I'm an anti social sod, and was never in anything. The only time I've ever been on a boat was to calais (sp) france, and threw up all the way there and all the way back. I just think its nice to see a toff break a sweat for once in their life :) And pray for one to sink.
