Blunts

I rarely smoke anything except blunts. They roll better than joints, they burn smoother, and I love the taste. We always cut ours in half though an smoke a half at a time(burns more efficiently that way). I have whole 5 gallon buckets full of cigar tobacco. I have no idea what to do with it though.

My SO will roll a blunt once in a while, but I don't like the way it makes the house smell.

I enjoy a good blunt, and the quality of the weed used does make a difference. My organic homegrown tastes so good you can taste it over the blunt taste, and if using a good leaf blunt, it will taste magnificent, it will even enhance the flavor of your bud. Those of you who are saying "If you want weed, smoke weed" are just saying things like "I'll eat my potatoes plain for the rest of my life".

A good blunt is a great experience. It is quite wasteful, makes the room smell, and is made from poisonous tobacco, but like all things can be enjoyed in moderation. I prefer a bong to anything any day, but as a connoisseur of the herb, I like to enjoy it in as many different ways as I can, bowls, bubblers, bongs, vapes, papers, blunts, edibles, hash, the list goes on.

I enjo smoking in all manners...except vaporizers, they are just too weak for my liking...I prefer bongs, but smoke a lot of joints and blunts as well...I personally love a strawberry swisher cigarello full of some stinky OG or Chem....makes my world go round...I will say tho, it is a bit of an aquired taste..my mom used to not even like us to smoke em in the house....these days she has em ready and rolled when I get there.....My mom is awesome.

They think your blunts are awesome too.

I always thought blunts were for high school kids to smoke while listening to Wiz Khalifa in parking lots.

Only half joking. In my neighborhood anyway nobody smoked blunts except black folks. Now that hip hop is all the rage I see white suburbanite kids listening to rap and smoking blunts all the time.

In my opinion they taste like shit and if you need anywhere near that much weed to get high you are smoking trash, or you smoke WAY TOO MUCH WEED.

Smoke however you like though. For me personally I feel like I'm 15 when I smoke a blunt.

Rolled my first real blunt a few weeks ago with the outer leaf of a hecho en habana cohiba (made in Cuba Cuban cigar, they're like $2 when you go to Cuba). It had dried out too much to smoke. Took it out of the make-shift humidor and dissected it. Rolled up about point five of Master Kush, looked uniform and burned evenly. Added a nice spicy earthy taste to the weed, would do it again if I had a spare baccy leaf like that. I do have one more leaf from that.

I decided to give blunts another try. This time I got one decently rolled. It burned nice and slow.

I could not tell there was pot in it because the tobacco flavor just overwhelmed it. My head could tell though! I was hoping for a better taste. After the third hit, I was coughing my lungs up. Haven't done that in ages. At my age, that kind of coughing hurts much more then it did 20 years ago.

That being said, I did get really, really high from smoking a third of it. Actually it kicked my ass. I was planning to cut the lawn but got couch lock.

I'm glad my generation missed the blunt age. Back to the vape.

blunts are fun every now & then with a few heads on it...and it'll kick your butt, but it's not worth it. I do like the idea of cutting it in half for more efficiency, so we'll have to give that a go. Weed is great in numerous ways & blunts are one of 'em.

Blunts no never! Cigar on occasion, Fuentes only. But a cannabis cigar now thats another story. Bless

A pure cannabis cigar is perhaps the ultimate joint and a must for the rich, famous and well connected. < lol I love that part! Using exotic, hard-to-get ingredients this can be a hard one to get together.

First, find yourself a thai stick, (cured buds tied around a bamboo sliver) Remove any thread and carefully coat it with liquid cannabis resin oil.
gar1.gif

Wrap the coated stick with small, uncured, 'top' leaves, taking care to remove any stems.
gar2.gif

Secure the leaves with thread and coat with more liquid resin. Leave the cigar to dry in a dark, dry and warm place for a day or so.
gar3.gif

Remove the thread and repeat the entire process. Use progressively larger cannabis leaves until the cigar is suitably fat.
gar4.gif

Use large 'sun' leaves to seal the cigar, add a final coat of cannabis resin and secure with more thread.

continued...

Leave the finished cigars to dry. In two to three weeks it should be ready to smoke.
gar6.gif

When drying is complete, remove the thread and carefully pull the bamboo sliver from inside the cigar to create a smoking tube. Store your cigars in a dry air-tight container - the longer you leave them, the better (and stronger) they will get.

I would love a good alternative to tobacco for the blunt, but so far nothing compares. If someone knows of a type of paper I can buy that has similar properties and is safe to burn. Lots of commercially processed paper has heavy metals in it, often on purpose. I'll even make something if I can. I've seen palm leaf wraps, but never used them and they are too expensive. Not sure what other leaves might work.

Perhaps the ultimate raison d'être for a fine blunt roll is the "speedball" effect of combining the THC and nicotine, especially if you are not a regular tobacco user. Get really stoned and suffer no couch lock. Combine that with the fact that a blunt smokes real slow and sure, and you have the ultimate party favor.

As noted previously, real tobacco whole leaf wrapper smokes best, real cuban if you have it, otherwise a fuente will suffice. (tip: wrap the cigar in a damp paper towel and nuke for 1-2 minutes, rest a bit and then the wrapper leaf should unroll neatly from the bottom up.) It helps to roll your weed in a paper first, then roll your tobacco wrapper over that for a professional secure blunt. A little smear of honey or Karo syrup will bind the end till everything is dry and ready to smoke.

personally i dont like the way a joint tastes. Give me a nice FRESH original or strawberry swisher and ill have you 2.5 rolled up in less than a minute. Guess i wouldnt like them if i didnt have a supply. When i see someone or smell someone smoking one it reminds me of bammer even if its purple. Guess im just not a fan of the ingredients used to make them

Strong tasting marijuana will ALWAYS come thru in taste. In a blunt or not. The better you are at rolling blunts, the smoother the smoke.

Rolling an NYC style blunt is the best way.
