And last but not least......

These are the ONLY things I put into my grow. I tried to stay as organic as possible. Ive been flushing now for the last week and a half.... 4 waterings so far. Im gong to harvest this crop tomarrow. One week early! Its either this or at like week 12! I dont like acouch lock stone so I figure better safe than sorry!

Honestly OTW this is my first try! Ive grown up around growing so I have a little idea of what to do, but as for my experience?? ZERO before this grow.

I read and studied for about 4 months before I started building. and another 2 months to get all my gear. So I felt I had most of my bases covered. I think a lot of problems can be avoided by taking our time and THINKING about how we setup our cabs.

Needless to say I got VERY lucky this grow. The only REAL trouble was some spidermites at week 2 of flower and again 2 weeks ago. other than that Its been pretty sommoth sailing.

Gunna harvest toinght!! Cant wait! Ill post some pics of the process when I start

5.8 oz total on a 5 day dry. Put them in jars to start the cure process. Rolled my FIRST home grown FATTY last night.

Props on the setup BLUNT, I just have a few questions for you as I have a similar setup

1. What size fan is that? CFM and ducting size
2. How much intake do you have?
3. What is the temperature differential between in and outside the cab?

I have a "fridge" type grow in the makings now. Cabinet is built 2x3 footprint and 6 ft tall. It's seperated into two areas- 4ft for flower and 2ft for veg.

I have a problem with temps though- it runs about 83 which is 10 degrees above ambient.

I'm running a 400w with 140 cfm exhaust by a 4" dayton blower.
Intake is 3 4" holes

Lets see......

*I use a single hydrofarm active air 265 CFM blower with 4'' ducting.
*I have ONE 4'' hole and THREE 2'' holes for passive intakes.
*My cab stays at ambient, even with the lights on. I have a HARD time getting it above 76. I literally have to turn off the AC to get it to raise. I keep the AC at 78 in the room with the closet.

I played with numbers till I felt like I had a god combo to work with. Here is the math I used to setup my cab.

Remember my cab is only 2x2x4ft 16 total cusqft!! so I really only needed a 5 cfm fan for 3x a min exhaust, I went OVERBOARD on purpose with my fan. (Ill explain later)

.3 CFM per watt to cool a bulb (in some sort of AC hood or tube), I would try .5-.7 CFM per watt in a non AC hood. (not sure if that would be enough as I never tried).

So I used 133 cfm just to cool my bulb. I also added 100 cfm to that to aid in circulation and ventilation. So now Im at 233 cfm.

The reason for going WAY OVERBOARD on the blower was so I could PUSH into my scrubber. I used DurbanPoisons guide here on IC and it works flawlessly!

So my total system is like this

A 6'' open ended cooltube pulling air through my passive intakes, that air gets tossed around inside my cab by TWO 4'' fans and ONE 6'' fan. My cooltube is 6'', so I have a 6-4'' reducer on the other end of the tube, I then have 4'' ducting running up from the tube to my blower and into my scrubber.

With my original setup I had the scrubber on the floor and I was at 90-95 degrees, and this was with the 265 blower! There was only a couple of things I did to make a 20 degree difference!

#1 I moved my bathroom AC into the closet that has my cab (-1 degree)
#2 I moved my scrubber as high as I could, heat rises, and intakes are on the floor!! (-2 degrees)
#3 THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE MAKER!!!! was adding 2 120mm PC fans into the ceiling to exhaust the closet!(into the attic) This in turn pulled A TON of cold AC air under the door and cooled off the entire closet IMMEDIATELY. I saw a (-18 degree) difference in 5 minutes!!!

I think that would be a worthwhile investment for me along with a higher rate of airflow.
