Hello ICers welcome to my thread. :smoker:
Firstly let me tell you a bit about my setup, currently I have a main bloom area and two veg areas.

Dimensions:
Bloom cabinet = 120 x 70 x 100cm tall
Veg shelf = 100 x 30 x 45cm tall
Veg box = 55 x 55 x 70cm tall

Lighting:
Bloom cabinet = 2x 250w HPS + 200w red Envirolite = 700w
Veg shelf = 4x 20w fluos + 70w MH = 150w
Veg box = 2x 125 blue Envirolites + 25w CF = 275w

Soil and nutrients:
Allmix soil, mixed 3:2 with coco-coir and added perlite
Biobizz complete fertiliser range, plus trichoderma

The genetics:
Blueberry, DutchPassion - Mostly indica IBL produced from DJ Shorts 90's seedstock.
Thaitanic, TheFlyingDutchmen - Mostly sativa F1 hybrid between a ChocolateThai mother and a Skunk father (from SkunkmanSams seedstock)

Progress so far:
I recently geminated 5 seeds of each, having already grown the other seeds in the packs at an earlier date and enjoying both strains I wanted to see what other pheno's appear from these remaining seeds.
The 5 Blueberry all sprouted and are now just coming to the young plant stage with 3 pairs of true leaves, they all look very much indica so far, good health to them too.
The 5 Thaitanic all sprouted today, some still have the seed shell attached but no health apperent issues.

Well that's the story so far with these babies. I'll get some pics taken and uploaded soon, I've some from the earlier grows of these strains too. :canabis:
Interested growers, feel free to post relevant questions, info and pics, join in with the thread.:yes:

Keep it green,

Nice strains there. I would make some experiment crosses with those two. This is what I plan on doing with two strains. When I grow out two strains I'll pick the best male(s) of each strain and save the pollen. When I find some ladies that I like later on then I'll make some crosses with the pollen. Two strains can make alot of seeds. For example with your seeds I would take the best Thai-Tanic female and pollinate it with a Blueberry male. Then I would take the Blueberry female and pollinater her with the Thai-Tanic male. Plus I would pollinate each strain with the same pollen for more seeds. This way you get two new crosses to experiment with and also more seeds of the two strains. I think a Blueberry Thai would be awesome. Have fun and good luck with your grow.

Visitors already..! Whoohoo! :jump:

Peach, cheers bud.

ClosetFunk, heheh we're think onlong the same lines there mate.. I don't plan on crossing the Blueberry and Thaitanic together but I will be crossing each with my OriginalHaze male for some Haze hybrids.
I've crossed Bberry and Haze before and grown out some F1s with great results, infact I have recently pollinated the currently flowering Bberry and ThaiT clones with the O'Haze. With ThaiT being an F1 already the cross will be a 3way (Thai/Skunk x Haze)
Also I plan on making F2s with the new ThaiT seedlings, I'd like to try get her to a more stable F4 over time and then do cross the with O'Haze.

Truthought, thanks bro... I've had a bit of experience with these strains already and it was a good one, so I'm back for more! :D

JayRoach, thanks man, you should get yourself some.. This strain has some excellent pheno's, with a great soaring high and large yield, can take upto 12wks (max) but well worth it.. Most pheno's have massive buds! The beans are at a great price these days too.

DrGanga, no not so far I haven't. In 2004 I grew out 3 ThaiT females, one was much more Thai-like but had more of a tangy sherbert smell and taste, really clear up high with no ceiling, I kept her as a mother plant. Another pheno was very skunk dom and very potent, cartoon-like buzz but not much Thai influence to her. The last and biggest yielding pheno gave powerful body rushes but the buzz wasn't as happy as the other two, cannot remmember the taste now.
*************

Pics are, Blueberry grown from the same pack of seeds and the cured bud shot of the Thaitanic, also same pack of seeds as current seedlings. (those large ThaiT buds were grown under 2x 150w HPS!)

I've grown Thaitanic a couple of times. It really gets tood (and tasty) with a good cure. Smoke it green and it's just pot. Nothing like the Thai Stick we used to smoke back in the day, but good weed. Nice yields, too, as your photos prove. Nice looking grow, bro.

How long did you veg each strain on the previous grow before 12/12.....final heights?
And how many blueberry out of the original seedlings displayed that "mutant" growth associated with Dj's strains? They look great by the way :yummy: ! Let's see some pics of the Thaitanic pre-cure and that O-Haze male...

One more question...what was your average yeild per plant on that first run of T-tanic?
:respect:

Hey Zed,
Nice to see that you're running some more Thaitanic. I too grew the TT last winter. I had 2 firm-budded, fruity, bubblegummy skunk phenos and one pheno that had bigger buds(not heavier though, just fluffier) that smelled ultra deeply-sweet. This pheno looked just like your really orangy-haired pheno(sativa) but actually finished around the same time as the skunky ones.
Anyhow the thai-like pheno was the first plant I was able to easily clone so I've held on to a mother plant for a year, just to see if the nice deep-sweet, lemony smell could be done better justice another time. Well, I have time for one more quickish( i.o.w. not a 12 wk flower from seed)grow before summer is here, so I'mma run a few clones and let em go a little longer than last time.

Anyway, it will be nice to see what kinda girls come from this batch..
seeya, Speedy.

Lumbo, cheers bro.. Yeh I agree, with a good cure the smoke is really great, can be quite powerful too. I found after keeping a mother plant for a year or so the clones from her have a much better high than the original, I guess due to genetic maturity.. I've never had the pleasure of smoking true Thai-stick, tried the more recent seedy shwagg on sticks that sometimes gets sold as Thai-stick and it wasn't anything like how the real deal is described.

RedwoodR, I have a grow/smoke report for the ThaiT here (post #10):
http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=7703

I all the other ThaiT pics when my old PC crashed..
Of the Bberry, I grew 4 seeds and got 2 females & 2 males. Females were different pheno's with #1 being a lot more resinous with deformed calyxes. I guess this one was a mutant, she was more potent than pheno #2 but the buzz was less enjoyable, didn't have the pleasing euphoria of #2. I pollinated both girls with the O'Haze pollen but #1 developed deformed seeds and most were already split open.. I still have these F1 beans from #1 and have noticed more recently that some look do viable, so I might try some out sometime. Pics are named and dated.

Oreganic and Weedtime, cheers guys..

SpeedyW, yeh I had a skunky pheno too.. She was really great I should've kept her but she wasn't very Thai like, real funky buzz tho, strong too. The large orange haired pheno was very speedy and caused some anxiety, didn't really have the feel good factor of the other two. The Thai pheno that I kept wasn't as trippy as the Skunk pheno but had a positive, speedy, feel good high without the anxiety of the larger orange pheno.

Thanks for the link, as well as the shots of the man in the house..
I always find shots of the males interesting...

I didn't know that a mutant trait could be passed on into the seeds..I knew offspring of a blueberry cross may produce mutants...but deformed seeds...got any pics...thanks for teaching me something new!
