I'd look into some more indica leaning haze hybrids if not feminized BD.I grow an old silver haze, and she's a little long but she gave me a s1 that's faster and a beast of a plant. I'd keep it over blue dream.
Thing with BD is not many plants can match its ease of growth, yeild and relatively short flower time for what you get in effect. Santa Cruz cut is very nice, wish I still had her.
