which characteristics to noticed in this blue cheese unlike normal cheese that already cultivated previously? until now, of course, because what I see I like a lot of that is the design and manufacture of gems and not least the quality...
anyway HIGH CLASS GROWER..as usual from you....happy new year my fellow!!!

Thanks KW.Cheese I had in DWC last run were more stertchy like the sativa bluecheese. No grapefruit smell at all,but that cheese smell you can find in any good cheese bought in A'dam like at grey area.
I hope the sativa pheno will fatten up,buds are really tiny if you look the indica pheno, but maybe it's only a delay on flowering and in a month we will see its potential.
Happy new year to you my friend

From my experience sativa's usually yield less per bud, but produce much more of them.

This is true but not absolutely.Try to think haze strains, they often have a lot of branches but also big fat nuggets. It's true that sativa like these start to fatten up later than indica phenos, but at the end they can have very big flowers ;)

This shot is the bigger flower of a delahaze,3 months and more flowering,I don't remember exactly:

You see what kind of buds a sativa strain can give,I'm hoping for a slow pheno but with a good yeld. However the most important factor is the overall quality, but yelding is important too ;)

Btw I found a store today that can refill the co2 tank,so the tank is full and everything is under control.Just this probably Ca def. on the sativa pheno will bring trouble but I hope with the water change it will fix.

Some shots I took tonight during water change.Roots seems to be healty with no bad smell, they do a great work.I refill everyday from 5 to 10 liters of water, impressive to me!

Wow...I just skimmed/read through most of the thread. Nice work there. Looks like a nice clean grow for you and a few freinds to enjoy. I have some Bluecheeze growing right now. Its my second grow with them and the first has baseball bat buds. I have one plant with 3 big colas forming and one with 4. Along with 3 blueberry 5 purple earkle and one mendo purps all in one room with a 1000 watter. My earkles are at day 31 and the rest are 2 weeks in flower. Its shaping up.

Nice 2 plant grow man...impressed with the even canopy and all the colas for just 2 plants

Thanks my friends.I'm happy you enjoy my thread :thank you:

Plants are starting the last phase of their life and I stop to feed them N.
I'm going to use only BLOOM and MICRO (3:1) till the end.I found they are a little dark green and this mean they have enough N till the end.

I moved some branches away from the lamp because they started to yellowing due to excessive light and dry air (photorespiration)

The indica pheno continues to grow its flowers nicely, sativa seems to be very slow, but it has a lot of bud sites.Thricomes on both plants are not so big and smell is pretty the same I described some post ago.

At now I'm not very satisfied, because my lights are not enough for that canopy,so I let them vegetate too much.Next round maybe I'll use 3 lamps in a little bigger space,1x600w in the middle and 2x400w on the sides.I would use a 1kw lamp but they cost too much here and maybe it's too much for a 1,5 square meters growroom, not considering heat emission.

PARAMETERS:

Air temp : 24 - 30°C lights on - ca. 20 lights off
Water temp : 19 - 21°C
RH: 50-55% daytime - 50-55% nightime
pH : 5,5
Ec : 1,4 - 1,5 mS\cm
CO2 : min. 500 ppm - max. 1200 ppm

In this pic you can see photorespiration damages.Look at the yellow upper leaves.I moved those buds away from the lamp try to improve light penetration too.

The sativa pheno looks much better in my eyes :)

Sativa pheno seems to have a better leaf\bud ratio than indica and it looks better too,but flowers are smaller.
We'll see at the end wich one is the best pheno :)

Thanks for stopping my friend

Hi all ICMaggers.I hope all of you spent a great time during this days.
I have not much to say about the grow.Everything is in place,in the last two days some Ca def. signs appeared on the upper leaves of the indica plant.Tomorrow is one week from the last water change, but I use to refill the rez everyday with new water and from some days a bit of Ca.I don't know why it happens,I know for sure with a complete water change no more signs will appear, hope to fix this problem for this last month of flowering.

PARAMETERS:

Air temp : 24 - 30°C lights on - ca. 20 lights off
Water temp : 19 - 22°C
RH: 45-50% daytime - 45-50% nightime
pH : 5,5 - 5,6
Ec : 1,5 - 1,6 mS\cm
CO2 : min. 600 ppm - max. 1200 ppm

And here the pictures.I take a lot of pictures,I'm learning to use my dslr and it's a good training take pictures in the growroom, not considering that a picture worths more than a lot of words ;)

Yesterday during the water re-fill I took some shots to the roots.I say they are very big!In the images the color tend to brown, but it's due to the nutes (they're heavy red) and maybe to photo effect, but they seems to be ok,no bad smell at all ;)

The veg box.
This BC in soil is still vegging and has thrips on it but I'll wait till the other plants in the flowering room are ready to harvest before give it a spinosad hit.
Don't know what to do with this plant.....

Thats a lot of roots! They look pretty good mate!

Thanks fonzee,I think the same they're a lot and they look good :)

a few burns, but looking very good so far imo noreason

Thanks :) They look good but I'm not totally satisfied with this strain at now.The yellow burns on the indica plant are due to photo-respiration,a defense mechanism the plant need to avoid free radicals,I bended the branches away from the lamp and no more photo-respiration for them ;)
All other burns\brown spot are due to a Ca def I can't fix at 100%.I add plain water and liquid Ca often but sometimes I find new brown spot!Wtf,I can't understand...

I also noticed a general yellowing on the sativa pheno. At now it's pretty normal it lose leaves due to a lack of N in the solution, but it seems to do this too quick,so I sprayed it with a solution of H2O and N at 1.1 EC.Doing this for several times I hope to help it and slow down its N def.
I can't add more N to the bucket because the indica pheno has a lot of N in it.I can see by the dark green leaves and the big leaves near the buds,so I really can't add more N to the roots.

This kind of things sucks. This is why it's not a really good idea to grow different strain and also phenotypes in the same bucket. Before put seeds in the rockwool I was thinking it's ok to have 2 pheno of the same strain in one bucket, but at now, after seen how many differences can be between two plant of the same strain, the best thing I can do,and with me all other grower with these kind of system,is to work only with known clone. It's a pain in the ass when 2 plant have so many differences.

I wish a great day for all of you folks.Peace
