blooming mother

I have had a mother plant for almost two years her stem is woody and she looks like a falserallia not a sensimillia.(serious) She has been under 24/00 light schedule for 1 year and 4 months. I had been feeding her watered down nutes kept her cool. I have trimmed her tops and roots. She is a dense bushy plant. Before taking clones I would take her out water her and warm her up for 1 to 2 weeks (growth spurts have proven a superior time to take clones) and I have had a 100% clone rate just using potting mix. I have taken a new clone or two to replace her but have also crossed her with with her sons and grandsons. Not to mention a select sativa. I have 50 really good beans and may select a female for a new mother. I am a medical user and this is necessary to have some fail-safes. Already she is proving difficult to start blooming. She Has all the signs,... offset internodes, preflowers, although the leaves aren't counting down 9,7,5,3,1.... I have folier fed with 9-59-9 at the beginning of 12/12. The only difference is that this is mommy. The question is, What will be different growing this mommy as opposed to her clones? Is this the 24/00 light schedule?

Shouldn't be any differences. I flower moms all the time and they flower just like the clones that came off them...funny how that works since they are genetically the same plant huh? :D

Are you having problems getting the mother to start flowering? If so, you might want to try a 10/14 or 11/13 lighting schedule (more dark than light) for 2 weeks to initiate flowering if she's got a lot of sativa influence....otherwise there shouldn't be any problems unless the temp thing has stressed the hell outta her.

sofar there is a big difference a plant (same pheno) was started at the same time the mother still only shows pre-flowers while the other is 50% done. The internodes are complely off-set instead of 9,7,5,3 I have 3,5,777777,...ect.and I am 5 weeks into flowers. I am only letting her flower cause I am a nice person. I owe her for many sucessfull. I was worried about her age as a genetic donor. It took a while for the seed grown mom to preflower for sex ID.This pheno prefers dry and hot and cures out well very little trim not even 10% of yeild. This is an all bud pheno. Did I mention that she turns red with maturity? This is a sweet trait. Once this Pheno starts blooming it is almost unstoppable. Hence the cool place to keep her dormant.it is amazin. .funny how that works since they are genetically the same plant huh?

Not all that kooky she vegged for 1.3 years. My biggest concern is that she will poke through the ceiling. I am going to top her again today.

Your nutrient solution not being complete could also cause a delay in flowering. Magnesium deficiency, for example, will sometimes cause a delay.
Check the plants fertilizer water to ensure it is receiving nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, manganese, zinc, copper, boron, and molybdenum.

I dont see where length of veg time would affect how long it would take to flower under 12/12,unless cutting the roots has something to do with it

The 24/0 lighting has been 12/12 for 5 weeks still no preflower. A body, would be as well put her back to veg now. I just dont understand why her clones will bloom in 1 week of 12/12 but the mother wont bloom?I cant affort to take up all that space on a stubborn mother. I have my new pheno up and running and it wouldn't hurt to have a spare clone cow.

The blooming mother is a bust more or less. I had to repeatedly go to hospital (i had developed an allergy to an anti arthritic drug) They were considering removing some of my organs. My lights were off for a few 24hr periods. She is not going to give a good potential. Off is my lights default mode. This is better than a fire.

I would take a cutting from near the bottom of the plant, preferably one without any pistils if possible, and start up another mother plant if its a pheno you want to keep

She is OK 2 to 3 weeks to go I spent awhile in hospital nobody can take care of my plants but me. She is really just solid bud all the fans are yellowing and she stinks of grapfruit.
