I have seen plastic used in the past. But if the room has positive pressure the plastic stretches and pushes against the curtain and def looks odd. I believe most people on this site or any LEO aka little piggies will know what is up behind that smushed window.

no home depot? or lowes? they have rolls of black 3 mil poly...tar paper would work but not to flexible... any hardware store should have black poly though... buy some construction grade trash bags n slice them open n use those.. lots of options. i would figure something else out before i drove 3 hours

Hes right the "Contractor Bags" @ HD are 3ml and will work awesome $18 for a box but they're thick enough you can cut them open and they cover twice the area. Good Luck

Make sure you have blinds or something showing to the outside world so that you don't look all sketchy. That's the kind of thing that they tell your neighbors to look out for if they suspect you are growing weed, blacked out windows. I would use contractor grade garbage bags. Double 'em up for extra safety.

Maybe with the bs now going on, it might be best to build a window box for stealth. Maybe hang a venetian blind in it with a LED light behind it with a timer to turn it on at 7 pm and off at 10 pm. maybe have a thin paneling or plywood back that can be opened to service the light, timer...
