I'm not, for me I feel like that's overkill. There are definitely people here that do use proxies though.

Now that you've switched the most secure and fastest web browser, it is time to add some third party add-ons.

In Firefox, click on Tools | Addons | Get Addons and then click on the text link that says "Browse all addons."

This will take you to a page on mozilla's web site where you can browse all of the third party addons and select the ones you like. The better ones will enhance your web experience.

Addons that are very nice to have are: AdBlock Plus to get rid of annoying ads, DownloadHelper so you can download all your favorite videos from YouTube, PDF Helper to view PDF files within your browser, and Download Statusbar so you have a nice statusbar showing the progress of each download.
