krome - Wow man, I didn't think they could look any better, but they do look better at 70 days. Loving the pics krome, they are beauties for sure.
I am interested in what you can o with the deep chunk. I looked at those myself, but while it looks like the DC genetics have been preserved, I dont think this batch will be the same quality as the previous DC stock from Tom Hill. I am sure there are still some amazing phenos in there, but you may need to sort through more beans to find them.
As far as Organics go, I think you will prefer to grow that way for your personal stash. The yield is not as good, but I do believe organics produce better quality product. If you get the system dialed in, you can get a very respectable yield, almost as much as with hydro.

I have not had that experience Ezra, If you know how organics work you can yeild just as good as hydro, but you have to be more ontop of your crop...and experienced! Lots of goodies mixed into the soil, weeks or months before hand will give great result. A good aerated organic soil, fertilized with teas(pure blend, earth juice, LK) will yeild excellent herb of the highest quality.

Ezra, I've done an organic batch before using the moonshine mix. It worked pretty damn good. I only used straight water and a little molasses. The buds tasted way better imo. Ever since then I've made sure to flush my plants a lot at the end. This time I've got a batch of promix ammended with bloodmeal, bonemeal, myco, kelp meal, dolomite, and greensand. It's been sitting for a little while and I'm gonna let it sit a little while longer. Any suggestions on anything else to add? I'm still going to run the majority of my plants in the usual promix/floranova way I've been doing. The full organic run won't get busted out on a grand scale until I can get it figured out all the way.

Of all the seeds the rez crosses are almost ready to be sexed while the deep chunk crosses are just a week old. I was just hooked up with the TW, POG, GDP not too long ago so it may be a little bit before I can really get them going but I can't wait.
Probably only running the purps this last time, and still figuring out if the suge kushes are worth it. They seem pretty good so far. Blockhead and triangle have got it on lock. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hydro grown that way is nasty shit though, I wouldnt smoke it.

greendreams- krome would know better than i would. But, from my experience. They tend to start off looking very indica dominant, atleast all of mine did. And then towards the beginning of flowering, they start to look more sativa influenced and stretch a little more. Stretch isn't too bad, but they do stretch more than heavy indicas do.

What's up everyone? Hope everyone is having a good weekend. It's been a while. I've been pretty busy as of late, and the hash ball isn't doing anything to help motivate me in my actions. I couldn't even dream of eating a piece like that. Completely scary. I almost can't function after smoking two mini bowls, let alone get down on a big piece like that. I've finally gotten almost all of the blockheads down and done. They were pretty good this go round. Here's a couple of shots from the latest one's to come down that went 71 days. Nice and dense, covered in trichs, nice berry/mild citrus smell. I'll do a little smoke report in the morning with a fresh head if I can remember. Take it easy.

Bringing this one up to date with some fresh shots. The temps got cooler the last couple of weeks and some went damn near black. Gotta love the blockhead!
