didn't you go straight into the 3 or 5gal bags?[/QUOTE
Well simply put I think the mix I posted and used during the rest of this thread is fine so isnt the method, Solid produces nice results everytime.
The mix I am using in my 4k room seems to perform better, Problem is it burnt them up and the plants took off much slower.I decided to run the normal mix posted on page 1 of this thread, Simply because its much better for little ones.
So I will start them in cups plain pro mix, Then switch to this mix in 1 gal bags, Veg 2-3 weeks and then transplant into the mix Im using in the 4k room, So they get that great take off they normally do with the mix in this thread. Then they will be transplanted to the new mix which will help them gain little flavor and extra weight. This is to maximize the yields.

1 3.8 cf bag of pro mix, 1 2cf bag of miracle grow organic, 1/4 bag of foxfarm ocean forest, 1 cup blood meal 1 cup bone meal 3/4 cup dolomite lime, and 1&1/2 cups of kelp meal. 20% chunky perlite!
prelude91sir said:could your mix work with ffof only. thats the only good soil i have access to other than miracle grow. dont want to use miracle grow at all. let say for each bag of ffof 1/2 cup blood meal 1/2 cup of bone meal 1/4 cup dolomite lime and 10-20% chunky perlite? do you think this would work? also do u still recommend going from cups to 3 gallons? i like the idea of not having to transplant before i start flowering. thanks for the help trying to imitate a lil and see where it gets me.
