I have never been one to crash through doors to places I'm not welcome. But I would think any adult should not be surprised if they end up shot. I'm not the one that made an attempt at the capitol that made third world coups look like Seal Team Six ops. If by triggered you mean in disbelief in what I saw yesterday then yeah, count me among the...billions of people around the world who witnessed it.

Watching Trumpist say for *weeks* that they intend on marching on Washington ON Jan 6th, with violent and extremist intentions and then watching Capitol police basically escort them thru as they vandalized it is exactly what it was.
