According to the NY Times, Obama's first inauguration was attended by 1.8 million. Trumps was estimated to be between 300,000-600,000.

One last thing. The day After Don Nonad Trump's little sparsely attended inauguration there was The Woman's March on Washington. Remember that? I do. Just the Washington crowd was about the same as Nonad's Inauguration. But if you count all the cities there were well over four million marching against Trump. That dwarfs the piddling half a million that turned out for him.

CNN and MSNBC did countless segments based off this photo, and used it to mock Trump relentlessly for months. They didn't elaborate on any of the details. At least Old Asshole's NYT article added a couple, but left out many more.
