With the current occupant encouraging what only be called a coup, his followers will comprise one faction of the new party. Call the new offshoot the Trumplican Party. Comprised of the scum of the Republican Party, this group says; "Fuck the Constitution, we will happily suck Trump's dick all day long!"

Then we have the Constitutional Republicans. They will put the Constitution as written first. This "finding" votes won't fly with them. Unlike the Trumplicans, they will do the right thing, and not disenfranchise the 81 million Americans who voted for Biden. They understand that elections have winners and losers and that will change over time. They were in power once and they know they will be in power again.

This will not bode well for the Republican Party. While the Trumpistas will win most of the primary's, just because there is more crazy there, it will lose most General Elections, because a majority don't want to see crazy in charge.

First test of my theory is gonna be the two Senate seats in Georgia. When Biden took Georgia I said no way the Dems would take those two seats to tie the Senate. Now I think the Dems will indeed take the seats, because Rule One is still in effect.

What's Rule One? That's simple,

I have faith in the system and believe, as screwed up as it is, there will be some course change back to what we formerly perceived as the conservative Republican Party. The populist mode we see now was an appeal to the lowest common denominator in the party. While it has grabbed allot of air time with its unlimited criminality and stupidity, it has also flipped hard core red states and forced top tier former republicans to vote democrat.

The split in the Republican Party will not be resolved quickly and people who enabled trump will be held accountable by real republicans and democrats.

Biden won because more people voted for him. Rallies don't matter. Trump has a very enthusiastic albeit minority following.

This summer I visited a friend at a beach house and he made a comment "Have you seen how many Trump flags are displayed? This is Trump Country"

and has not changed since it was written

Ok, ok. I listened to as much as I could of him barking into a microphone. The constitution piece he's quoting says "may" it does not say "shall". Wording in the constitution is paramount. "Each State SHALL appoint, in such manner as the Legislature thereof MAY direct, a number of electors" That's why the supreme court said no thanks. It's all there in constitutional black and white. It doesnt say the Legislature SHALL appoint - meaning ONLY the legislature can. It says the State shall appoint in such a manner that the Legislature may direct. The legislature doesn't need to direct the state, but it MAY. Any questions?

You'll also find, with research - if you have the nuts, that other States like Texas did the same exact thing.

On a side note, how the fuck does anyone listen to this dude for an extended period of time? He's like a less drunk and more ear-splitting male version of Judge Jeanine.
