Maybe because this wasn't just a relief bill. 900B was Corona relief related and 1.4T was the end-of-year omnibus spending bill that keeps the government operating until the end of the year. The omnibus is the one that those things are in.

You might object to the crazy things that congress earmarks, but be clear as to what bill they're attached to.

Fact: Your government representatives want to send desperately needed (domestically) taxpayer money to Pakistan to push western gender narratives, while over 100,000 independent restaurants have permanently closed.
