What's up everyone ? Dam quite a few seem to like the purple shots & i appreciate the kind words from each of you. Im' very interested in how these smoke & will certainly do a smoke report once they have cured a few weeks. I will also take plenty pic's of the dry herb & each pheno of the VBS. I didn't yeild much off each but still prob. about a qp out of 6 plants...bonzis'. Grew Blackberry in my first indoor and it was some great bud. Great yield (almost 2 1/2" oz on a 2 month veg under a 400w MH). Harvested at 68 days and was stoked. The buds were dense even with the sativa dominant pheno. Good taste.....berry hashy if I say so my self. Dont she smell beautiful? Like shovin your nose in a blackberry bush. Be forwarned, careful when you dry and cure her. Blackberry will develop boytris at the top of the cola. I lost about 2 grams to the mold. She does like to cure for a long time...the longer the berrier. Not the best medicinal strain. I will personally never grow the strain again due to the mold, which I have learned many berry strains suffer from. No powdery mildew though. Out of all of my harvest that grow...6 different strains and 3-4 ft tall...the blackberry was the only molder. Great social smoke and a blast to grow....oh the smell and crystals were awesome. Very hardy tough plant...will take abuse. As for nutes...I used Earth Juice, Superthrive, and Liquid Karma. When I transplanted 2nd week of flower into 25 gallon pots I added blood meal to the Fox Farm soil. Now all I use is Botanicare products.

3LD, damn nice lookin buds on those plants. I was pretty hard on those seeds when they were offered. those pics in the #4 post definitly look like Blackberry shots ive seen around.

very intersted in the smoke, lmk on a dried bud, ya know a test bud before a cure as the BB is a beautiful plant but not much on the head

This one smells strong/astringent & of blackberries. It is dry to the touch now but not smokeable for a few more days.

It looks like this plant is about 50% Sativa/ 50% Indica. Is that right?

Thats a good question but as of now id' say theres a pretty good representation of both. Mabey the 1 pheno is more sativa, but certainly id' need more time & people to check it out. Thanks for the interest & have a nice weekend yf 3ld

Heres the last 3 phenos to get the chop this morning @ 66days 12/12. They are still as purple as anything i have ever worked with & 2 of the 3 smell STrongly of berries. The 1 purple pheno (2nd one i'll discuss) 'more indica i think' smells just like blackberries go figure a purple pheno smelln' of the blackberry itself . I really think this 1 may be kept around a while especially if it dries well & 'yealds heavy' ....at least medium w/ a good high.

last 2 are of the pheno that just started turning purple later in flowering & could have come down a week ago probably. Very pungent & colorful !

Thanks Haschischin i must say these are like alien herb & i sure hope at least 1 or 2 of these phenos smokes well/great ! I have preserved all w/ clones but will soon do smoke reports & drop all but mabey 2 phenos....we'll see .

Also Dezy that original pic from the blackberry(w/the bottle) is somewhere ? I might just look at the grocery store today to see what they got . Might make for a few nice pic's....again we'll see as i have a lot to do & lil' extra time lately. I do plan to take many pictures of this strain around Halloween in a goblet i bought w/ a goule/skeleton on it . Should be a nice set of pics to check out Take care 3ld
