hey ak hear me loud and clear, Nspecta has the shit....he doesnt really need to try a blackberry IMO. I think he was just trying to find some info there that we all would want to know... : ) but Nspecta why are you calling Orgns Black even black though? you out of all people should know. wheres the black? again this has nothing to do with your grow zep...

Hey Zep,looks like most of us got the same results.I had one pheno that was really dark purple down in the bud,like carbon paper.Kind of a licorice flavor.

The other pheno is less purple but way more frosty,kind of a fruitier taste than the other.More potent as well.

Thanks for the photos and report. I was curious enough to order some of these Blackberry S1 seeds. It is hard to find a strain that actually turns purple indoors.


Addendum: My Flo is turning purple/red in the seedling stage.

I'm thankful to zep for the test grow as well. You saved me. I came oh so close to getting some, but after writing the breeder and getting no answers to my ?'s I wasn't too sure. All ya have to do is look at CO's pics of this strain & then compare them to the ones here in the thread. Don't get me wrong.... it looks like great smoke, but it's miles away from the pics the breeder has provided. His pics are purple/black straight up... entirely colored. I'm glad I didn't buy any.

I just now read this whole thread and it has turned the whole blackberry endeavour sour for me. NO I AM NOT SAYING THERE ARE ANY SOUR GENETICS IN THE BLACKBERRY so let's not start that quarrel either, hahaha....

nice job zep....man you grow alot of strains!! ok now someone explain me the deal with this guy nebu, somablaze and orgnkkid? from what i understand nebu buys a bag and grows out the seeds he finds. it comes out purple naturally and he gives his buddy somablaze a cutting or seeds and he plays around with it. then orgnkid gets ahold of a cutting or seeds and post pics on here and people start buying calikushh blackberry?
so zep youve gotta try a small nug and tell us how it is! rate this stuff on a scale 1 - 10 for potency.and mabey post some pics of the done buds. i am curios as to what it looks like. good job buddy as always

ill take some in a few day of the bud the plants i have are producing ,, unfort not a great display from me , some grow room trouble this run ,, but from sight this is what i can tell you ,, of 2 females only one is showing much sign of purple , and that is just mild on some of the seed pods ,, the slightly purple one is a lovely smell , very reminisant of durban poison , i wouldnt doubt it is in its base there somewhere , it is also showing heaps of resin , so overall a lovely plant , although not performing to what id expect of a strain called blackberry , id like to see more purple .. otherwise a nice plant ...

i grew some of these out, huge yields, frosty.... extremely heady high, not SUPER potent but most definatly better than some pheno's of more reputable breeders cup strains etc as far as all around enjoyment goes..... these ladies have an EXTREMELY strange odor , i thought it was quite pleasant.... i think the name blackberry fits with the smoke. couple of em turned nicely purple for me, couple did not.... either way i was pleased. and will be growing a couple pheno's of this strain out again.

had a plant that was 3.5ish feet tall that yielded just shy of 120 grams, massive center cola! (in a 5inch square pot on my ebb/flow table under 1k hps)

if nothing else, it's a good strain to keep around for commercial runs. enough stretch to flower from clone, and nice thick stems able to support the large buds it produces.
