There's definately a pollen sac or two hanging around this little beauty, but I haven't seen any seeds growing yet. I'm not that surprised with the temps that we've had in southern cali the last few weeks, and since they popped up too late to pollinate, I don't really care. A few bananas here and there are usually pretty harmless at the end, as long as you don't have other plants flowering on different schedules that still have time to get pollinated. Peace.

ya bro if its that late no need to worrie to much at this stage....ummmm but from what i can see in that first pic that looks like a seed to me, now the second pic looks like a sac but hey i'm looking at a pic and your looking at the real think and what a beautie she is......i bet she smokes as good as she looks as well......

I know it looks a little shiny, but trust me, it's just a couple of not-yet-fully-developed bananas. Anyway, we took a couple of tester buds off it recently, so I'll have an initial smoke report (no cure) in the next few days. The smell isn't strong, but what's there is very rich and hard to describe, although not particularly fruity.

Alright, here's the update. These pics were taken pretty much right before the chop.









The smoke is very hashy, with undertones of pure funkyness, hint of skunk, not really fruity at all. The high was nice and clear, strong but not overpowering, and seemed like a fairly even body/head mix. I need to cut back my intake a little because my tolerance is too high right now, and I can't really judge the subtleties in the high, but oh well. It's good stuff all around, and I'll eventually run some more seeds, as I didn't get a chance to keep a clone.

hey man thanks for the smoke report, the pics look great any chance of a few dry bud shots in the following days??........

also any chance you will be maybe doing a bit of breeding with the few seeds you have left??..it would be a shame to let this strain fall out....

the strain won't fall out as there are others who have it including myself. seems there are quite a few color variations in the mix of the bx2's. mine were a very dark purple almost black to a more subtle shade.
