Still about 40 + clones remaining - Starting to see a lot of new growth. Pinching off any lower growth too close to the hydrotron.
The nursery looking how it should. No red spectrum in here.
The next batch of clones mostly black widow including a few others, they will be another story

Week 1 End - Welcome to Kronical Kiwi and all of you that have chimed in
- Swapped out Res - Increased to 100ml (.4 US cups) per 50L (13.2 US Gallons) House & Garden Nutrients A & B
- Added H&G Multyzyme 50ml - PH 5.8
- No airstones in my reservoir this round. I've found bubbling the reservoir last time I tried this method made my PH swing too much and was unnecessary. The flooding & draining is oxygenating the water this time around.
- Flooding 3 times per 12 hour light period.
- Gave the clones,rockwool and hydrotron surface a dosing of organic mold barrier.(MicroKill)

End of Week 2 - Changed reservoir to A&B 130ml per 50L. 1.6EC.
Have been removing any lower growth.
My old DIY flood & drain plumbing fell apart. Really impressed with this kit I got from my local grow store. Does the job nicely.

10x Black Widow #8 in CoCo - My favorite pheno so far. Sitting on the heat mat waiting their turn for the flower room.
Some other BW phenos along with some ghs chemdog will be joining them.
The black widow mother and fathers ( 8 female 2 male ) are looking happy. The 250w hps-mh conversion bulb only reaches so far through the canopy so trying to keep it healthy

I'm pretty late, but I'm here for the show. Have you done a smoke report of the phenos ? If not, please do, I'm curios how the widow smokes...

I have read this entire thread in one sitting and must say you did a very fine job. It's rare a thread keeps my attention for so long and I really enjoyed watching your selection process. The SOG grow really has my attention as I always wanted to do a grow of this style but never seemed to get around to it.
The Black Widow looks sweet, especially number 8!. Good luck and I hope you don't mind me tagging along a while longer. Thanks for the interesting read!

Mothers and fathers cleaned up and treated with garlic and pyrethrum organic insecticide, the coco treated with canadian xpress nilnat(tanlin?) Also sprayed underside & stems with mould barrier(MicroKill).
They seem to be loving the hand fed full strength H&G CoCo mix I'm giving them. I bubble the mix for 24hrs before feeding, it seems to give them a boost. They are already crying out for another cloning. I'm aiming to get 18 solid BW#8's into the aero cloner.
Flood & Drain with various BW phenotypes. Changed 50L reservoir.
140ml H&G A&B, 50ml H&H Multizyme, 50ml BudXL, 75ml H&G Top Booster fed 6 times over the next 4 days. I've got the stretchy phenos on the outside.
Black Widow #8 clones + a few GHS chemdogs in CoCo starting 12/12. Also treated with NilNat & Garlic & pyrethrum for bug control. Ready to go.

Got them a little over a year ago. Came in foil + vial. Best packed seeds I've purchased to date. Heres some I have left in cold storage.

Kiwi, was that run in the table just to find the keeper pheno? Or is that how big you normally flower your plants out?

Just to find a keeper but I do prefer to keep them small. Next run they will get a little bit larger with some vege time in the aero cloner similar to the ones below. Will all be pheno #8. It could be another but #8 does seem to be the best suited to my needs.
Had to replace one of the chemdogs with a bw#7 as she wasn't looking too healthy, the nats got the best of her.
I'm happy with my nat numbers now. Heres about a weeks worth on the sticky trap. Am only getting young nats now so I know the garlic and pyrethrum treatment is doing the trick on the adults. The nilnat should kill most of the larvae and hopefully break the breeding cycle bringing nat numbers right down.
