damakkus, thanks for stopping by man. People think growing outside is a piece of cake. It's one thing to grow marijuana, it's another to grow phenomenal herb.

Okay I've been busy trying to get that pegdown MxA finished. We're expecting temps as low as -5 tonight, it's pretty windy so there's a less chance of frost. It's also suppose to cloud over, which is another bonus for no frost. It snowed a bit today . My poor white widow doesn't know what to do, one week it's beautiful the next it's frigged. I took the two east grow MxA's out and potted them up till I can get to them.

Here's the harvest pics, this is about half of the MxA pegdown. She smells so nice and I'm surprised at how much was on this thing.

StonedGrunt55, thanks, she just put on all this weight in the last 2 weeks. I've never grown WW before so I have no clue how long they take. It normally goes longer outside than in. I'm hoping for the mid November for crop.

She already looks awesome with those big colas , i guess till mid November her buds will explode lol . You'r gonna love that WW, its gonna be fun watching it finish .

StonedGrunt55, hey bro, I took another White Widow shot for you today.


As you can see she did fine against the frost, the MxA and the rest of the PPP didn't fair so well.


It's suppose to be nice for the remainder of the week so I'll finish these up. The damage is mostly cosmetic so I should be able to use the bud. Anything that is too small gets bubbled. I also have 6 potted plants to finish up, the rest of the M39's, Ak48's, Skunk and MxA's.

Well guys I went the other night and cut down everything but the garden MxA and the twin towers MxA. I hung the widow the rest of the PPP and MxA. I still have some trimming to do with the pots but I may just bubble it all. Here's a picture of the widow harvest, the colas are nice.

Well done bro, they sure packed up nicely . Talkin about trimming, i removed all lower fan-leaves from my girls & some lower stems too, lol the skinny one became more skinny now but its buds r fillin up . Enjoy bro,

Once again..Great Job!

Last winter...I tried to eliminate mites on my Tangerine plant by sticking them outside in the freezing. After 30 minutes of -10C my plant was destroyed Of course the leaves didn't start dying till the next day or 2. I have a pic somehwere on here if you'd like me to dig it up.
Anyways...point of the story...I harvested this plant 25-30 days early because of this I think it made the buds more potent. Also better tasting without much cure time
Just my twisted opinion though

Maybe us Canucks can corner the market on Ice buds

Make sure you're properly stretching and taking care of that wrist with all that trim work you're doing!

StonedGrunt55, yeah I think that may be the key to bigger tops. I'm sure I've read where a few people trim all lower branches and just keep the mains. They end up with huge cola's. I would rather trim the big stuff than that lil stuff. Take care man.

Stoned2Death, hey man. Yeah it's fat, but really fluffy. It just didn't have the heat to pack on the weight. I'm sure I'll get a nice fat chunk off it though. Thanks for popping in.

Core, yeah it's cold. There comes a temp when the cells just can't handle it and start to burst. All in all it's been a good crop. The widow just isn't a practical strain for colder climates. I'm more for the pure indica or mostly indica mixes. No prob about the rep my friend I'm constantly trying to give to the same gang that seem to bounce between all our threads but I can't give any either. Thanks for stopping in.

scrappy, thanks man. Yeah you need to give it a go, see what those crosses you made can do with all the light and space they can take. That's one of the important criteria when I find a place, it needs a nice basement for my seed projects and a nice patch to grow my big ladies. Thanks man, I'll be popping some of your beans when I get settled in. Love to see what that bog cross will do outside.

TML, you know I had a theory on this a few years back and some southern growers thought I was full of crap. I've been growing outside for 15+ years and have seen a difference between the early crop and later crop that gets the cold temps. We use to leave our indoor in a week of darkness with the ac on, now did it make a difference .... I think so, but others will say not. Have to try an experiment to prove it. Take care man.

Well I took down the upright MxA, I didn't trim it just put the buds in my dryer. I'm going to bubble everything I have left. I ended up filling my dry box yet again for this bubble run. I should end up with about 1.5 or 2 pounds of bud to bubble. I still have to take the buds off the hanging PPP, MxA and WW. That should add onto that total as well for bubble. I may have to get some bigger bags, mine are only 1 gallon.

Funny we both noticed the same thing about fosted buds. I felt the freezing process may force the plant to mature rapidly. Just my hypothesis through observation
I'm sure there would be many that disagree with us. I think there definately is room here for exploration and experimentation though.

Hi B/R, Well, i haven't cut all the lower branches, but the first 2 from each plant & some of the fan-leaves too. So far i'm not sorry & i'll leave them like that now but in my next SS and Afghan run, i'm willing to try some experiments lol .
Well done on MxA harvest bro, thats a nice yield .I see u'r up to some bubble nice one there.
