Ive been trying to find info on Black Domina.

It gets mentioned alot, and I'm real interested in giving it a run...but a single source/thread of specifics has eluded me.

I know it comes from sensi seeds, and its very potent (thats what I like)

can some of you experienced w/ "BD" please give some info, and maybe post some pics? or post a links to a specific thread if it exists.

whats the exact lineage?

is there just 1 version?

whats the "keeper pheno(s)"?

anything at all you can think of?

what about a "BD" cross w/ "Blockhead"?

Ill be reading and searching more too....

I believe I read it was a four way cross of indicas. I believe it is an ortega,afgahni,northern lights and hashplant.Sounds killer to me.This strain is one of my wishlist strains for sure. Good luck Nokuy.

I grew it out a while back. No pics, it was pre digicam. I only got 1 pheno of it. Quite tall and lanky with buds on the ends of skinny branches. It looked like a poor plant and I wasn't impressed with how it grew at all. Then I smoked it and fell in love. It wasted me. Such a heavy smoke. So I crossed it. Have fun, although I'm not sure of a blockhead cross, I have heard they contain sativa traits.

Hello.

Domina avalible now is (Afghani Indica x Canadian Ortega) x (Northern Lights x Hash Plant ). I got domina clone from a friend almost a year ago. This clone is from ~1996 and I've heard that it does not yet contain NL. Well i bought another pack of domina a few weeks ago and hope to find some nice moms and fathers.

Growing patteren is a disaster. Everytime i have grown this plant i finish out with a bush of buds. Smells like sweet bluberries ... you just wanna eat it. This one i have gets a little reddish on the end. Not really dense buds. Smoke locks my body from neck down. But i dont get all splatted on my seat like w/ some strains.










I am growing two crosses I made with domina now.

Oh yah. Its awsome awsome weed. Very unique almost chocolatey taste to me. with some more melt in your mouth hashy tones aswell.


powerfull in the head and body. potent AND pleasant.


i need to get a cut or some beans before long.

The BD I have was selected by an old friend several years ago...so I can't talk about variation or any of that...but the smoke is fantastic!! THis particular plant has the densest nugs I have ever seen, I can't imagine anything denser. Seriously, you could take a nug and crack a window with it if your threw it hard enough!! That hard!! The smoke puts you down...down and out. No talking, no moving, nothing. You sit in one spot and zone out. It is perfect for a nightcap and for a rainyday movie. In the same breath, it is a disaster if you smoke BD in any other setting.

eh crap! i have a pack here and was under the impression it would like the picture on their site(honestly, all kidding aside). Is there a pheno that would resemble that structure?

I'm def. gonna grow some (despite what "overall" sounds like maybe an average yielder)..I'm used to strains that get pretty chunky. But since the potency is there i can do some selective breeding and overcome a yield issue (if there is one).

Question for a Black Domina grower: how is the odor during flower? How strong would you rate the odor level on a scale of one to ten. Also, is the odor dank and skunky, or more fruity? Thanks, guys...

thanks...the yield is moderate at best and the plant above is probably 15" high and has an ounce on it. I don't weigh my smoke much, but I do every once in a while to see how efficient my garden is growing. Most strains will fill a quart jar with an ounce...I can fit 2 ounces in the same jar of Domina because the nugs are that heavy and dense.

mine produces minimal odor while on the vine. The dried bud produces minimal odor while sitting out, but as soon as it is ground up it releases its fragrance. The smell is nice an almost fruity. If you have a sweet tooth Domina is definately not for you. Her taste borders on the ceder/spice/pepper, with a stone that hits you a half a second after you inhale. A connoisseur in every sense of the word.

Yeah....my plant has a weak structure. Have new seeds to sprout and I'll see how the phenos differ.

Oh and about the smell/taste. It is sweet and bluberries sirup when growing. I am smelling some outdoor domina bud, cured for about 2 months... reall hard to describe ... smells little old ...warm and full. Reminds me on some really wierd tea...

Sorry... hard for me to put this into words. Try it!
