ya the code for BC is rather un-breakable, but if you have bitcoins store them OFF LINE. much easier to hack a wallet/wallet host site than bitcoin itself. there was rumor of a 51% attack being possible a few days ago when a group of miners conglomerated and had like 46% of the total gigahash rate. "the network is free and open, so if someone were to have enough computational power (which would cost a huge amount by itself), there is no bitcoin authority to stop them from doing so."
so they could double spend coins, invalidate legit transactions and prevent miners from mining coins for a short time.

the guy in florida sold bitcoin to a guy who sold bitcoins to a guy who sold bitcoins for drugs, so again, super solid case for the FBI/DEA now that patriot act blah blah blah more FUD

and The Man wants to know any time you spend more than $10,000 PERIOD doesnt matter if its for shoes or drugs... so some dude offloading a $1,000,000 in anything(let alone bitcoin) is illegal, god bless america and no place else

Not into them but im glad people are considering breaking the bondage of the FED. There is also a federal money laundering case in new York regarding bitcoin, I suspect the fed's will do something eventually. I believe there are other competing digital currencies like Litecoin to check out also.I prefer barbarous relics. I'm also considering a cape.

Wise to invest in Btc and then cash out for the next generation coin. Not the copy cats that are all popping up right now, something unique that solves a good number of the issues.

Good, bad or ugly... btc is here to stay for a while and these price drops are due to an exchange having software issues and political dweebs saying their country won't accept them. These 'issues' will go away, development continues, places that accept them are growing... the value grows as well.

I love that my btc is earning me btc on cex and scrypt while I sleep. :) Not a lot, not by a long shot, but it's there and working for me. ;) Beats the crap out of tending a ton of mining workers. :)

Keep it Clean! :D

I don't see how there were so many fucking idiots ready to keep their coins on a deep web site after what happened to the last SR, but thank goodness I can finally get some coins affordably for the moment! Oh boy I hope it hits 1200 again soon after the current dip..

So much bitcoin talk all across social media and the internet in general today. I am not involved in anything bitcoin, but I do kind of find it disturbing how much pleasure some people find in it's failures. Sure, maybe some people didn't see it's flaws, but to laugh at their losses is just bad karma. My opinion.
