Birth Control For The Girls

We're able to provide birth control for people and animals...why not plants?
Is there any kind of plant hormone that can be given to a female plant to prevent it from seed'in up when it comes into contact with male pollen? Anyone know of any studies that have been done on this subject?
Sounds like a stupid question...but think about it.....no more worries of finding lil balls on your bitches and pulling the whole damn plant AND you could breed in the same room as your "regular" crop without fear of pollination!

this topic was discussed on overgrow, the use of the hormones in birth control to try and make the hormones in the plant create all females. many people had tried this on OG but all tests ended up being the same, that it made no differenace. So save your old lady BC that way you don't have any little surprizes 9 months from now

Are you talking about gibberellic acid to create feminized seed? I'm talking about making the female sterile.

no there was a big thread talking about the use of the hormones in birth control mixed in your watering to make the hormones of the plants turn female, before ever sexing them. so in theory you water your plants with birth control the hormones in that insure you get females from seed, either way it doesn't work. sorry I got off subject from what you asked but my point was that chemicals and hormones found in birth control do nothing in pot plants

He he yeah abstinence token. I just viewed the "will it blend" post before this - lets blend female plants, extract the juices and add this to our water! No, I'm not really serious but you never know....

dutch master reverse was blurbed to stop seed formation, in a ngw catalog i have.

nationalgardenwholesale.com i suppose would have it.

i was curious, blurb claims seedless cucumbers among other produce are due to these hormones/treatments.

don't know about DM reverse, but yeah there are treatments/hormones to stop seed formation, foliar applied usually at certain times relative to flowering/fruit set...sorry for the lack of specificity, i don't remember though. not my bag, baby...

i practice abstinence or orgy, no middle ground...
