this is made to have a more clear electrical connectivity.
made for 240v user (i'm in the old dear UE), can be arranged for the 110v user as well.
the timer were rated for 16a 250v max.
id advice you to don't get higher than 8a 250v per socket, if you are using the one under the timer, the external box can still use 16a250v device each.
