NO!! THEY'RE NOT GETTING THE SMOKED FISH!! Maybe some leftover bread stuffing from the turkey. NO SMOKED FISH!! Unless maybe they bring some cream cheese, hot sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, a bit of minced onion, some capers, and a dash of sour cream, and are willing to share the salmon spread.

I'm a quid pro quo kinda' guy when it gets right down to it.

If I chip in a small bit of smoked salmon, and the other 'person' (or large furry critter) brings the makings for a good salmon spread and maybe even some good whole grain crackers, we can probably do business.

But I'm taking any leftovers home.

surrounded by snow, but looks happy
looks to stay a mystery unsolved, no one's claimed credit
I do scope out the spot before venturing out, no telling what might be running around out there

brought it back in, washed and ate it, seemed the rght thing to do after it was 'declined'

here's a clincher of a sort
rock was moved 3 feet away, 1st pic shows this
I would not have moved it that far, 1 flip to get it out of the divet and no more
and its original spot would get the stone partly buried after a wood delivery
not a big deal, typically might toss a dozen pieces to uncover
but it's now positioned nicely where it won't be affected
somebody/something appears to be aware of this and placed it in the perfect spot
