The public access to the plants growing on public property means there must be zero public consumption. That's logical.

I'd suggest to anyone if they ever come across an outdoor plot to promptly turn and walk in the other direction. I don't know where everyone else is from, but around here you can end up with a bullet in your head if you try and rip someone.

i grew up in a place with little greenery and alot of concretery and if you ripped anything from anyone you could get dead. what's the diff? is pot that sacred?

Yeah, I would never actually take anything from a plant I found outdoors for fear of being seen. Either by cops or the people growing it. I would be tempted to at least run through a field of bud, but I know if I was growing it, it would be booby-trapped.

In this case with a huge grow like that, I would be more worried about getting out of there with my life than I would be about getting a sample.

Plus not to mention that if the grow is that big, chances are good the weed is just over-ferted, under-cared for commercial crap.

Myself, I wouldn't take anything because you never know who's watching who.

And I am just too good looking to die for weed.

Lesson number two little boy....NEVER...AND I MEAN NEVER....booby trap your grow. Many creatures can be hurt by these...including innocent people who just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Maybe you should spend less time in the den and more in the growing forums so that you can learn a thing or two about the do's and don'ts of growing greenery.

10,000 seedlings = 10 million usd. i think to myself; How? then i remember reading a thread here on this site, about how some seeds where selling for 1000 bucks.. Then i thought "Damn, maybe LEO is keeping up on their research of the market place..
I mean if someone pays 1000.00 for seeds, then the Feds have every right to assume that that is their market worth, and thus can build that figure into there report they compile against whomever is being accused. That is kinda scary, huh?
Seed whores (like me) imagine if all your beans where worth 100.00 bucks each. The jail sentance would increase. Well, at least no one was busted,, no one lost their freedom over these plants..that is a good thing.. i guess better luck next time Peace, be well.

Besides, how else you gonna keep all these pesky rippers away from your crop, so stupidly being grown on state land (not your property, the state's.....)? Sit outside and shoot them?? You know, you could hurt a lot of innocent people that were just in the wrong place at the wrong time....

Ripping is not something to be joked about. It's serious business. Same with booby trapping grows. If stupid things were kept off the boards, maybe I wouldn't have to play the jerk role....but I will if I have to because rippers and booby-trappers give pot growers a bad reputation. And personally, I don't mind showing the world that we're not all stupid.

I just want to clear up that not all booby traps are meant to kill. You could for example, rig up a device that lets off a decently loud noise to scare away potential thieves, or animals that are hungry. Something along those lines, non-lethal. But it comes down to the fact that it is gonna be very hard to protect your grow if it is not on your property. Especially that large a field.

Anyone remember that guy that was growing in 55 gallon barrels up in the trees in some National Park?? Had all the plants and barrels at least 80 feet in the trees, was really pretty incredible. A couple years ago I believe.
