big brown bumps all over the main stalk near the bottom

This plant is growing under a 250 hps in soil. It's on about day 10 of flowering now but these bumps have been on the stem since 5 to 7 days before I switched it from vegetative to flowering. I was feeding her with Foxfarm Grow Big at .5 to 1 tsp per gallon of water until 10 days before flowering when I noticed what I decifered as some nutrient burn on the lower leaves. Heat was also a problem right at this point because I moved it from a couple CFLs to the HPS to finish off the vegging and go into flowering. I went on vacation at 10 days til flowering and I came back at 5 days til, and I came back to these bumps all over the bottom of the plants. During my vacation I made sure the plants were only watered with water to try and relieve the nutrient burn.

Are these bumps some kind of fungus? Luckily they have not spread past the location of the top of the pictures and have not spread to any side branches so thats probably good.

I should note their texture and feel. The bumps are hard and solid. Not squishy at all, rough to the touch.

I looked around in this forum for anything similar to this but I found nothing... Has anyone seen this kind of thing before? Should I be worried?

sorry about all the pics.. first time poster. I thought I should also add that the soil was purchased from a garden shop. Good loam soil but not a fox farm ocean forest quality soil or anything like that.

Well I did make a half assed attempt to LST this one so maybe that is a conceivable explanation.. However, I take that back. There were 2 other plants that turned out to be male that had the same bumps but to a lesser degree and those ones weren't trained at all.

wouldn't worry abit bro...just part of the plants natural growth cycle...it has a specific name, but I can't remember right now...I've had those little buggers on damn near every plant I've ever grown with no problems...stay safe

yes its roots trying to form out of the plant stem, that happens when most of the bottom stem was not put into soil, the roots only grow so far up the plant and thats it

i would add some more soil to your bucket though the plant wasnt planted deep enough is all it was
its fine now but i would try to put a bit more soil in the pot
