Oh I know I'm smarter than Sowell. Most people are. It's no real feat.
His talking points are no different than any other rightie talking point that exists. He thinks racism and economic inequality isn't a thing for starters. He constantly and falsely equates leftist policy goals with "equality of outcome". Same boring shit over and over. His work in regards to economics is regarded as a joke by his peers.
He's the original token black that right wingers wheel out so they can scold black people by using a black voice so they won't get called racist. If demographics were available at who actually watches Sowell, I guarantee it's almost all exclusively white people.

And Imo the sign that an economist is actually thinking is disagreeing with how the federal reserve and Modern monetary theory “works” aka Keynesian economics

My 401k pretty much doubled in four years. The family business is booming. I definitely benefited from the Trump administration.
