I think it's fair to give people the rights of citizenship after they have worked a medium amount of years, like 5.

Biden has a very strong gun-grabbing agenda, which allows true 2nd Amendment rights only to the wealthy.

National gun laws aren't going to happen until 35+ states have enacted laws at their level. And with the Supreme Court positioned the way it is, any law enacted at the federal level will be struck down before implementation.

Besides, the best path to reducing gun violence isn't through gun laws. It's through M4A and UBI. The more people that start realizing and repeating that will help bring 2nd Amendment fanatics in to our cause.

In the world of hardball politics, it makes perfect sense to give a bone to a voting bloc that the Dems will need in 2 years, to continue implementing the "Biden-Harris Agenda". An agenda they want to run for 16 years. Not saying they're going to get that part, but it's what they're "playing for".


The main speed bump for the 2A parts of the Biden Agenda ... the Trump stacked Supreme Court.

I may end up being in the position of detesting Trump - and being super grateful to him for putting together a Supreme Court that tells Biden to go back to the drawing board on his 2A law changes.

maybe biden will appoint a very liberal dea head? doubt it - prolly a corporate butt buddy or some status quo boring old guy.

i don't think obama was a very liberal president, i wasn't paying attention as much back then but he seemed like another status quo boring democrat.

Earlier on, and nearly immediately after, if not -while- those memos and letters were being sent, DEA was busting the be-jesus out of some very proper and conservatively run med canna clinics in California, as well as the Feds threatening to prosecute landlords who rented to cannabis shops, seize property, etc.

The sincerity of Holder's letters and memos was much more slow to arrive than the spin, smoke, and mirrors.

Pressure applied to anyone who leased to medical canna shops, and the coup de gras was (I'm trying to recall her name) Sister XXXXXXXX, can't recall, who ran one of the MOST respected and clean clinics, no high-mark-ups, patient garden, terminally ill patients primarily, etc., and the bastages busted HER, after Holder's memos went out.

I was following that fairly closely back then.

I'd be shocked if there wasn't a significant amount of history re. that sleight of hand still readily available on-line.
