but vaporizing concentrates as opposed to smoking them; huge difference. i used to have tons of issues when i smoked hash, now that i vape oil, my respiratory system is virtually perfect compared to back then. i never am coughing up much at all now.

was experimenting on new purging methods a bit , while waiting for my vac setup ...
and heres what came out of it
...

winterized trim oil
and some whipped stuff , at least had to try it out no ?
and a little collection , not all bho , and also not all homemade...hope nobody starts to cry...

NL#5/Haze & SSSDH popcorn buds with some Kosher and Triangle OG trim (just the very frosty final trim leaf) gave me this shatter....not sure how much i ran but i ended up with around 5 or 6 grams which i was real happy with. I hardly use much butane, the second i see it go clear i stop and refill the glass with more bud or trim.

I did not take the time to read all 121 pages of this thread. just being honest,
so anyway, I'm curious what kid of yields you guys typically get per 6oz (300ml-165gr) can of tane.
my glass tube 8" or 9" X 1 1/4 lets me run about 1/2oz-+ of material
let me note that I am really anal about how plants are manicured. anything without any trichs is discarded. I cut off and discard the tips of the leaves with visible trichs so the end product is minimal bare leaf. I chop it up to blunt consistency, maybe a little finer and fill my tube. I use a dry sieve screen folded to be 4 layers and then rubber banded around the mouth.
Just to ease minds I am not a shit4brains, outdoors, I like to have a large stock pot of water that was brought to a boil on stand by negating the need for a another source of heat.
anyway... I get about about a heavy gram per tube, Im running Soma's Rockbud X KCB Mango trim...
Ill show ya what im playing with.... Oh yeah 7x refined tane

The first and last pictures are made from super silver haze and pretty much everyone that tried it said it was like a sweet candy. Always produced straight shatter although not great yields for using buds.
