BHO in coconut oil

Hey guys!

So Joe has a sheet of wax paper (~12in by 7in) covered in a small residual film of BHO. This residual film is no larger than a millimeter thick. Joe's plan is to submerge this sheet of wax paper in a tuberware container of similar size to the wax paper (but larger). The tuberware will be full coconut oil but the liquid height will only be a few centimeters above the wax paper. Both the wax paper and the coconut oil will be warmed (not too hot) to help in the transfer of BHO to the coconut oil. Joe expects that all the residual BHO from the wax sheet will dissolve into the coconut oil and then the coconut oil could be applied to any standard recipe.

Will Joe's plan work? Is BHO very soluble in coconut oil? Do you see any ways to improve this? Is there something that can go wrong (whether it be in dissolving the BHO in coconut oil or using the coconut oil)?

Any insight would be great!

Is there some reason you can't scrape the BHO residue off the paper? Is it a minuscule amount of BHO, or a decent amount? How many times would it get you high? I would estimate that number first and then decide how much coconut oil is needed. I wouldn't think that submerging the paper in a few centimeters of oil is necessary. I would simply spread one tablespoon (or even one teaspoon) of coconut oil over the BHO residue to render it unsticky. Then just squeegee everything off the paper and into a pan for heating. No reason to cook the paper in my opinion.

scraping will get wax with it.

Skip the coconut oil, you'll just make a mess.

Get a small glass, cut the wax paper with the bho out of the extra paper. Crumple it up in the glass or cut it up in strips so it only takes a little bit of room in the glass.

Take a container of 'CLEAN' butane (do some research on here) and punch the nozzle through a plastic lid or something that will cover the glass. Slowly release the butane into the glass. The butane will puddle up and wash the wax paper.

I have no idea if the butane will pull the wax as well, probably not but I don't know for sure.

Swirl the butane around to get all the residue off of the wax paper. Pour the butane out into a glass dish. Let it evaporate outside with a cloth over the dish to keep dust out.

Should have a nice, super thin spot on the dish you can scrape and smoke. :)

Keep it Clean! :D

Why not put the wax paper in the freezer and work the wax paper around and the bho should fall or break off.
