Looking good

Looking good

Budgrinder; Your plants ar looking good, your moose nibbled specimine will be fun to watch. I like the surrounding green foliage and using stick tee-pee's is a good idea. Deer and Elk are plant chompers in my area but Big Slugs are the worst when they are little. No slug bait no crop.

Good luck keep posting

Bud congrats on the girls man. The big ones usually end up being boys anyway it seems like. That plant that got attacked by the moose is a trooper, gotta love how resilient ole maryj can be.

O My it didn't die did it!? :biglaugh: we got a buddy that everytime he would put out more than one plant, a deer would come by and eat ONE... lol.. he put them out one at a time, and they would be fine... kinda' funny, but also weird... Do you think that more than one, they just smell'em better?
I do know he started "marking" his territory... haha

No, my "survivor" is alive and well...These plants are not close to each other so I think it was just bad luck why this individual was eaten..not for the smell :chin:

Heh, your friend and I have something common, I loose one plant every year this way too...But I haven't seen this kind of survivor before...

Absolutely beautiful, BG.

My roses are recovering too. I got a spray called Deer-Off that seems to be working. It's a mix of rotten eggs, garlic, and pepper. The leaves take it in and it lasts for three months. For that reason, I wouldn't use it on reefer, but it works great on plants you don't intend to consume.

Those pink pistals are somethin, she's gonna be a beauty here shortly.

It's a mix of rotten eggs, garlic, and pepper.
that sounds like it would repel just about anything, just the thought of what that might smell like makes me cringe.

Sorry about no updates lately but I've been very busy man lately...so no time for walking in the woods and photographing...but here we go again....

FIN420

FIN420

Flowering started very late and it was disappointment for me...These plants probably won't finish before first frost hit the country...but I'm going to keep these plants outdoors as late as I can...or should I say as late as plants can survive and stay healthy....

peace
