I had debated on posting this grow, until the electric fencing was up.. had some issues with defective units, lost delivery's and just the basic fuckery that goes with installing an electric fence. I have raccoons, groundhogs, deer and bear that I'm protecting the crop from, using mostly organic inputs that WILL bring them in. Fenced in area is 100 x 50

I'm no longer in Cali, as we moved to Texas in '17. Left that awful place 3 yrs ago and came up to the mountains in the eastern side of the US. So I'm between 35°- 40° lat and around 3000ft in elevation with a SSW planting. Old forests full of hardwoods, oaks, birch, hickory, locust, maple, etc.. so I've been busy, clearing the main garden area Took out the last tree I needed to yesterday, that was blocking just a bit more light than I'd like.

I wasn't sure if I'd get my fencing up in time, so this year my plants are smaller and didn't pop enough seed to properly fill in the garden. That'll be remedied next year. These plants were plugged in on 19 July '24. Most are The Prophet (Pre '98 Bubba x Blockhead IBL) with several Diablo OG x DMT, so all the plants are related to Bubba this round, which is a good thing considering my wife's love for that toke.

Thanks for taking the time to share your garden with us friend. I love wild grows, because there's something spiritual about being in those woods you can't get from anywhere else. I'm going to ride with you. How do you get water to them and what kind of water do you use?

Creeper, stoked to have you checking out our garden. My preference is to have the heavenly waters irrigate our gardens, a huge burst of growth after they come, however in drier times, we have a 400 ft well we pull from. Just replaced this old stuck open valves that go to the homesteads. So I added an inline, ball gate valve from the supply, Tee'ed up is another ballgate valve. Not shown in the pic is an extension with a barbed tee that goes to the supply line for the gardens as well as a hose bib outlet for immediate needed use at the pump/well. But there are several other redundant water sources I can draw from, as we have a small year round creek and being on a mountain, can harness water with plastic sheeting as well. Regarding the water quality, this is the best water I've tasted, coming from a limestone aquifer, it is low in ppm, hard minerals and is sweet. No water or media analysis was done, as the plants have shown no issues.

Meant to git the vibe goin.. proper

After rain...

These were planted in 19 July '24. So not a bad time getting them up to a fair height, in 1 month. Organically fertilized and hit with synthetics to boost growth. Dyna is my preferred synthetic... Been using it for 20+ yrs, now. Down to Earth organics blends for my organic inputs, with a molasses, bran and yeast blend, similar to Earth Juice's Catalyst.
