Best Strains for Outdoors!

Pineapple express is one of my go to strains every year for outdoors. It does help to start a few seeds and find the ones with the most open structure and faster finish time. Exodus Kush was another great plant for me outside.

i have a exdous kush from DNA that i bought..was wondering how it did outdoors..what lat u at frankenstein..im at 38n and humidity stays nearly 100% thur the summer and my flowers usally begin around aug 1st-8th on all strains i have ever run..i know one thing all other kush and white widows i have ran outdoors have failed miserable on me so now i just use outdoor proven strains for my go to crops and then always throw in a couple other strains to see how they fair..i know one thing the holy grail kush cannot be grown at my lat bc it has zero resistance..i paid 21$ for the Ex kush back in the summer before i started doing hardcore research on outdoor proven strains..i found icmag in aug and now i am confident that i will have alot better year next year as this year only 1 strain worked well for me and that was delahaze..i will be on the prevention plan next year as well from organic fungicides like neem and sns244c to protckt to help thicken the cell walls for better resistance

when growing up north I really favored a farmers durban that he had grown and inbred since the 80's. it finished fast, and was very potent with no mold problems and no pest problems..bug wise. we worked together and i gave him some beans to find some good males with to cross with the durban to boost it. he ended up using a few different things, ecsd f2's,spacequeen f2's,jillybean,agent orange, and a c99xshiva skunk. the jilly was the winner for him in the cross up in the north.
now down south were its nice and humid and lots of rain and sweltering heat ... my best run from his works ended up being the durban x c99/shiva skunk and our own white widow x shiva skunk.
no mold and they produced very well in size, yeild, flavor, and of course trics :) i guess the point is over many years we asked the exact same questions as you and we played with different things and found what worked and made slight tweaks to it. the widows really did there thing for us but the yeilds suffered and the bugs wanted to eat it up, the shiva skunk we grew was huge and no bugs, had everything you wanted but lacking that "fire" potency. our widows consistantly put out extremely strong smoke. so we hit the two one year after and played around with alot of pretty decent sized grows and found our baby. so during your search for your outdoor, dont forget that you are the one that knows your conditions the best and you can buy somthing that works , but you can improve upon it and have your own holy grail outdoor plant :) just takes a little time and love

almost forgot. the last outdoor year our studies happened we tested some new things. overall this strain i was happy with. however we are spoiled indoor guys so of course we were going to hit it with a few things and test. anywho, this is dna genetics martian mean green from 06.

it held up to all of our criteria for southern outdoor, no mold,no bug problems, flavor, potency and yeild. also was a better outdoor plant than indoor.
best of luck and have fun. us rednecks had a ball playing around with stuff for 12 years till things got put to a halt. so have fun mang :)

I tried Maple Leaf Indica. Ran in indoors over the winter to see if it's something I'd like to run the following spring. I was pretty disappointed at the quality and could not in good conscience recommend it. I heard it was good years ago but my pack from 2 years back was difficult to move.

Anyone tried any of Brown Dirt Warriors gear outside?

Some of the best outdoor strains for me at 42N. Nepalese, very most resistant, sturdy plants. Great for guerilla grows. C99 and hybrids, particularly Schrom x C99, seem to do exceptionally well outdoors. Chemdawg/Sour diesel and hybrids do great. Had the pleasure to run some Alien#4 which did excellent outdoors.. Most OGs do great for me. Done a lot of Lemon Larry Outdoors. Likes to mold up tho if conditions are wet. Buds are so damn dense, but the finish quick which is a plus. Indiana BG x Lemon Larry does well outdoors. Again large dense flowers WILL mold of conditions are good for it, so gta keep an eye on em. Have had most luck with landrace or landrace hybrids due to their potential mold and mildew resistance.

I ran some of BDW's seeds. and also some of his private stock at 42N lat. Most of it didnt get very big, flowered extremely early, and didnt yeild much. The quality was there tho. I cannot remember what His private reserve consisted of, If I recall correctly they were hybrids of S. Africa/Nepalese, and another type. He sent me some of his Brown dirt revenge also. Like I said, most flowered out to short 2 ft shrubs, some were single buds on a stick, so not a lot there to sample but i do remember it was good quality with mold resistance, too easy to trigger tho at my lat. I made a bunch of seeds with his stuff but sadly lost them aswell in the raid last summer along with all of my other seeds :(

Photos were requested. Not the greatest but gives u an idea.
Heres the BDW Private stock Garden:

I second the canadian genetics suggestion. Those strains were bred outdoors for the outdoors. A good canadian strain will fit all the criteria you listed.
Dinafem Blue widow, blue hashplant and Moby dick are great outdoor plants. they are awesome yeilders and has surpurb mold resistance.

RCMC collective........One stop shop for OD gear.

Unleash da green members are steping up the guerrilla game with there gear for sure.......Gotta take a look.

I crossed some indoor with some guerrilla gold pollen to bring down flowering times and add some mold resistance.......Next season should be good!

Happy hunting

I always have success with the Dinafem varieties cause they are quite stable and the quality of the buds always very good so I think the best strain for outdoors are Dinafem's Sweet Deep Grapefruit, Critical+, Moby Dick, Blue Thai, Blue Widow and Power Kush (I also really liked the California Hashplant and White Siberian).

some pictures and infos:

very tight buds, grows very fast, very fruity tasting, smells awesome too. some of my friends said its "orange tasting weed" ...I would say grapefruit but it has real good taste and high for sure. really recommended strain both indoors and outdoors. harvest time is early October. you can easily get a pound or two from seed if you plant it at early April. this year I grew her from a re-veg clone from my indoor grow.

its a heavy indica strain, the buds after drying looks like high quality indoor buds. this strain makes you very stoned and hungry. it has a nice smooth, hash taste. I could germinate it at July 1. but even with this late sowing date it produced 100 g very good quality bud. the harvest time is around October 5-10.
