Best strain for growing outdoors in cold weather?

First Post! Maybe Autoflowers if you are not offended by them. They are quick and have a northern heritage. I would look mainly at modifying your existing greenhouse environment. Put a greenhouse inside your greenhouse so to speak. It could be a simple as a clear 50gal garbage bag with a stick holding it up. Surrounding your plant with 1gal milk jugs. They will give you some thermal mass and even out the temp swings from night to day. On really cold nights you could swap them out with hot water. A soil cable will keep the biology moving. Ironically, if you do all this. Overheating can be your biggest problem on a warm winters day. A 55 degree outside temp can be 90+ in a greenhouse. I have been happy with temp sensitive greenhouse window openers. No power needed. They have a piston full of temp sensitive fluid. The fluid starts expanding as it gets warmer. Pushing on the piston starts opening above 50 degrees and fully open at 70.

Despite being strains more or less prone to it in general, the mould/bug/cold resistance are particular phenotypes. So, unless is notorious for it, i'd first check the sort of strain i'd like and then look for resistance in those.
If you're growing in soil, adding like 10% in volume of hay can help a lot, as it keeps composting and thus generating some heat so it can withhold lower temps.

If you want a nice early plant then have a look at my UK Outsider, its a biddy early x (auto)mossys gem and doesn't take 11-13 weeks like stated(someone fucked the flowering time up when listing them for me..cough cough clarence....lol)

Heres the description

UK outsider is a potent F1 hybrid between biddy early and mossys gem with some plants will auto-flower within 4 weeks of planting and some will start to flower from july/aug and finish flowering 7-9 weeks,so should be ready mid to late sept outdoors. They can also be grown indoors under 24/0 lighting with some(25-30%) taking 8-9 weeks from seed to harvest with the rest will flower normally under 12/12 but will start to flower when daylight hours drop below 15 hours and expect a few colorful individuals ranging from deep purple to light red/pink and blue with a fruity dankness to the flavour.

Keep in mind that nighttime humidity in a greenhouse can be extremely high. I've experienced 85% regularly in October. Make sure you have a lot of air flow and heater will mediate the humidity. Without extra heat, I can say that Ace's Bangi Haze has been the best for resistance to grey mold.
