100% depends on where you plan to grow. Give us a little more info on your climate and we can help a lot more.

Have you checked the Strain guide? This why I created it, there should be a number of reports that could help answer your questions.

depends on your latitude
if your below 50 northern u have many choices among commercial lines but if your above 50 i would suggest looking into private breeders early mold resistant strains and maybe some Nordic classic strains like Royal Dane, Danish passion, leb27 and others as the commercial lines are mostly to late and not mold resistant enough to handle the harsh Nordic climate when winter starts to show its face

Late Oct., your choices are huge with an end of Oct. harvest date. BC pointed out some good ones I wish I had the climate to try. Skunk #1, White Widow and there is fems of this one. Endless Sky would also be a good choice but you will have to try a few strains within your climate and environment to see which ones work the best. Many more considerations than just yield. Mold resistance (if that applies) height for security (if that applies). Stability of the strain if you plan on selfing it for seeds, which can be a big consideration for a commercial strain for some guerrillas.

Like you I am still looking for a good strain for all of the above characteristics but that gets done Sept 25 - Sept 30th. Good luck this season

I look for better quality

my guess would be that you never actually grew any of them yourself

heres a few pix of Danish Passion
she is so sticky we sometimes call her Sugar Lady here.

sher originates from Passion#1, then crossed with others and inbred for many years
she delivers a strong, mostly sativa high but with some body to it also
she is both early and very potent and used in many crosses here.
she finishes at end September at 55 northern latitude

Royal Dane is a sativa/indica landrace
very potent and finishes at start to end September

the Leb27 is has variation regarding potency from below to above average depending on phenotype
but all the phenoes yield very well and can give a massive yield under optimum circumstances
a pound a plant isnt impossible even in the cold harsh danish weather

Man those are some nice pics show size and quality. I am looking also for a Sept finisher and wanted to know more about Danish Passion or Royal Dane.

I guess my experience has pushed me away from these because I grew Passion #1 from DP and it was a early finisher but potency was not very good but that Danish Passion sounds great. Do you have to find a good pheno or is it pretty stable from seed as far as potency goes?

I really lean toward potency so what is your choice of a Sept. finisher for 42 deg north US.
PEACE

hamstring you could also look into GG#2 by Greens (do a search on name)

i have more info on the danish strains in a link in my signature but the info is far from finished as im a little stressed out lately
most of the info is based on this thread by Esbe
http://icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=80043
esbe, paddi and other "old" danish growers has a lot og knowledge about these classic strains

i must ad that the pix above isnt taken by me but is from Esbes thread and i think taken by him and Paddi

i did grow many danish strains this year as guerrilla grow in cornfields but most the pix are from early stages

theres more info also scattered around in my outdoor thread 08 and the corn guerrilla thread

they can be bought at local seed banks but most of them dont ship outside Denmark or the EU
therefore ill be releasing some of the classic strains on seedbay later ( once i get the time to do the last work and sorting and germ testing the seeds)

and sorry for going off topic but i couldn't help being provoked by that bullshit remark from Gods Son that clearly indicated that he didnt know what he was talking about, neither was interested in ppl helping him out with his question

ps
seems like i completely misread the original question'
the strains i mentioned is no good as they are way to early

but for a very potent strain that finished here theres a Nordic Afghan that finishes mid October
only medium yield but its damn potent
i dont think its available commercial here any where but local seed banks

Passion makes fluffy buds , i would go for the frisisan dew if u like hard filled buds , a monster yield and no problems with mold.(ready end sept - half oct in belgium)

yielded 2300 grams from 5 plants in 50 liter pots(organic)

Also passion is a decent smoke but not strong enough (talking bout passion nr 1 )

Thanks for the feed back looking forward to seeing these strains available hope all goes well. I will look at Ebses thread and do some more research.

frisisan dew sounds great I love rock hard buds!!
I am really looking for a Sept finisher that I don't have to search for a good pheno because I am a seeder no clones. Trying to avoid hunting season (Oct 1st) and the weather gets real sketchy after Oct. 1st in my location in the Midwest US. I am going to take a very good look at some of these strains though.

Frisian dew sounds nice
whos the breeder?
might be good in crosses here

if crossed with danish passion or royal dane it be a little earlier, good potent with hard buds
maybe be a future project, not coming season though as i already have many things in the brewer

The most beautiful outdoor variety we have ever encountered. A Super Skunk female x Purple Star male, seen after 3 years of selecting clones. Although we produced many Skunk/Purple hybrids in the past 20 years, we have never seen anything coming close to this hybrid. Light purple coulour.(50% Indica, 50% Sativa). Very high yielder, very good stem to leave ratio (only little leaves). Not susceptible to mold. Absolute premium quality outdoor strain. A must for the outdoor grower.
THC:

flowering period: 7 to 8 weeks
harvest time outdoor: 1st week of Oktober
yield: Way above average

5 fem. seeds - 42€
10 fem. seeds - 75€

Sounds great but imho too expansive!

Edit: They also have a new autoflowering strain: Tundra

Anyone have any experience with the Tundra strain posted above? I have some DP stock already but have never seen that specific one.

Would be very interested in some info from growers that have experience with it.
