I will be setting up two 5x5 tents soon, meaning i will have quite a lot of plugs to deal with.

The tent is Gorilla Grow Tent, The lights are HLG scorpion diablo, and the rest of the equipment such as exhaust and oscillating fans are AC Infinity.

My question is:
  • Is there a brand of a power strip you would recommend, so i have more outlets to plug things into such as humidifiers, lights, fans, etc.?
Thank you so much in advance for any help you give me! It is much appreciated!

I use three of these, because I distribute the load among the lights and the exhaust fan. Have used these since my computer days, with great success. I also use arc fault outlets for all attached devices.

Good morning!! I have the AC infinity 4x4 and a surge arrestor/plug strip is about 2” too long. But it sounds perfect for what you’re needing. Check it out.

Hey, sorry for the late reply, but ive got a question if you dont mind!

I ordered a few of these surge protectors you recommended because they seem to be the best ive found.

My question is: Do you keep the surge protectors outside the tent, and just run all of your equipments cords outside of the tent?
Or can they withstand the humidity inside of the tent? I am thinking about having the power strips inside of the tents to make it easier to just plug all of my lights/fans into it, but i dont want to start a house fire or something if its not able to withstand the humidity.

Thanks in advance for any help, and thank you for recommending the surge protector! It is much appreciated.

Without a doubt, the high humidity would have a negative affect over time.

You're welcome, I'm glad it worked out for you. I keep the surge suppressors external to the tent and run extension cords inside the tent to connect up fans and lighting. Here's a recent shot of one of the tents:
